Excellent experience with these movers. Nothing was damaged, they were very respectful & helped us all day. We did a full unpack & they took all our boxes on the same day & came back the following day to see if we needed anything else. This was our best military moving experience out of 14 moves.

I wasn't a patron of this company but was subjected to their utter lack of professionalism for hours while moving the contents of a unit in my building. They brought a giant speaker expressly for the purpose of playing music during their job. They had the bass turned up so loud I got a migraine. One of the crew was singing extremely loudly and off key intermittently for the better part of at least 4 hours. Crew members occasionally yelled and cursed at each other. Additionally, they brought three vehicles to the site, only one of which was being actively loaded. While it was unavoidable that the truck they were loading blocked at least two residents' private parking spaces, the other two vehicles were pointlessly parked in clearly marked no parking zones or were blocking clearly marked handicap guest parking. They also discarded an empty beverage can in the parking lot. The crew member who was primarily responsible for loading the truck was doing so unsafely. He was not wearing a weight belt, he did not use pulleys or dollies, and lifted everything himself in ways that are likely to cause injury which, if the crew member or company were litigious, may have legal implications for the client and/or property owner. While I cannot attest as to the quality of the work, I can tell you that based on the unabashed display of unprofessional conduct I witnessed, there is not enough money on earth that would motivate me to hire this company except in the event that I wanted to hire a professional nuisance.

I would highly recommend this moving company. I had outstanding customer service from the initial review/quote through packing/moving day. Tim McAllister was my main point of contact throughout the entire process and addressed all my questions with a smile. Moving isn't easy, but they sure did take the stress out of the equation and packed all my goods with such care. Everything was clearly labeled and I was provided a detailed shipping manifest of all my goods. I couldn't be happier with their service and so glad I selected them as my moving company! Mahalo for everything!

I called with with a few questions, mainly about what contact number the team had to get a hold of us when they arrived at the storage unit. Explained we had to switch numbers to mine as my husband had been pulled off island and I would now be acting as POA for the friend that was being packed up. This happened months ago and its still not sitting well with me, the woman on the phone was honestly very very rude. I happened to have her on speaker as I was moving some things around at the unit and even the people with me looked up shocked when she was so aggressively dismissive. Cut me off, scolded me for changing the contact information, demanded why we are changing it and if my husband had literally left yesterday and why we wouldn't have had advanced notice. It was kind of unbelievable, I explained he left due to the military two days prior and we didn't have any notice. She huffed and just kept asking me over and over and over if I held a POA to handle this then. And I did, this was just a bizarre and out of line conversation. Team who packed us was very nice and efficient.

Honestly I was pretty nervous for our move after reading the reviews but was presently surprised at the service we were provided. Initially one guy showed up two hours early which wasn't a huge deal but I would recommend having all your packing stuff done the night before. The one mover packed the entirety of the down stairs and was very nice and careful.with our belongings. He left and assured us the rest of the movers would be on their way soon. It took 1.5 hours for the other movers to come which is why this was given 4 stars. However, the company was good about communicating to me and keeping in touch with the movers and myself about the timeline. Once the rest of the movers came they started moving and packing right away and we're actually alot nicer with my stuff than I expected, not quite to the level of the first mover by definitely better than I had read about. The movers were also good about wearing masks and being respectful and asking before using my restroom. Honestly wouldn't mind doing business with them again. Nice job!

Only getting one star because the only positive of this company is that they're fast. It only took a crew of 3 men approximately 5 hours to pack 5,000 lbs worth of household goods. However their speed was due to their negligence and downright carelessness when packing. Sure they brought in TONS of packing paper but never used it on the things that needed it. Frames with glass were tossed into a box with heavy powertools on top, no organization when it came to where to put the screws for items that were disassembled, and tossing smaller electronic devices randomly with no coverings despite us giving them the original boxes they came in. Not to mention a good 25% of our household goods were not even labeled or wrapped at all. 5 mystery boxes with no writing on them and no label, didn't even show up on our inventory but we're ours. They misjudged the amount that we had despite a pre-move inspection, causing us to have to throw out a few items because they would not fit into the container they brought and they didn't want to call their boss and get another container. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. For the love of god, do not put yourself through the same misery and problems that I have. Learn from my mistakes, pay the extra money and go with a more trusted moving company. There's nothing "Aloha" about this company. Especially their sales agent; Tim. Who thought he was too high and mighty to answer questions, very unresponsive and last minute. Which is the last thing anyone needs when moving internationally. The best part of all is that the cheap ghetto moving company they hired in Spain broke a piece off my balcony. They fixed it with super glue... PS. Shout out to the movers in Hawaii who packed everything and were super friendly. They were the only positive and pleasant aspect from this whole ordeal.

An overseas military move can be pretty stressful but Levi, Justice and Tino made our pack up and out easy and did it well! They worked quickly but were very thorough. They took great care of our items and it was evident that they took pride in their work. I worked around them adding my own labels to what they packed and they would even remind me when a box or wrapped up was missing my own labels! They were neat in the house and garage and brought extra boxes and paper to fill our final crate to ensure no movement. They were personable and I felt like they let us get to know them, which is something I highly value when working with people. Our final large piece, which is a super heavy dresser, got some fun art work on her to put the finishing touches on the job! I would work with this trio again in a heartbeat! Let me first start by saying, I never leave reviews. The impression left by our experience with Aloha International and Joe and his crew was significant enough to make me want to let others know. There are quite a few bad reviews left here, but I am a strong believer that it is the crew who makes or breaks a company's reputation and Joe and his crew are a true asset to Aloha International. The entire crew was respectful, courteous, hard working, trustworthy and polite. Joe was a true leader and managed his crew well. This crew truly worked together as a team to the point of undoing some subpar packing and training a fellow teammate on how to properly pack pots and pans in order to prevent damage. They even packed my furniture and belongings with evident attempts to prevent damage to extended legs on furniture, back of my swivel rocking chair, high backs of my dining room chairs and washing machine. The paperwork was very legible, accurate and adjusted per my request when needed. As the team leader, Joe worked with me with zero push back or fuss for what must have seemed like crazy requests as I followed behind closely to ensure everything was documented and taken care of accordingly. This included writing sticker numbers on boxes and wrapped items, of which Joe started doing for me himself after putting a sticker on items when I explained why I wanted this done. My entire 19 page spreadsheet of high value items (of which I staged together as much as possible before the crew's arrival) was documented and accepted with absolutely no question or problems from Joe or Aloha International. If you are fortunate enough to be assigned Aloha International and Joe's crew, your belongings are in good and trustworthy hands.

Reading all the bad reviews I was very worried about this company packing our stuff. Only 2 men showed up which I think is fine as long as they can do the job. A 3rd guy actually showed up to help because the people he was packing for canceled. We put stickers of our info on our boxes they packed and they didn’t mind. Only the 3rd guy questioned why I needed to do it. I read that they are known for stealing, but one guy found my debit card while packing and gave it to my husband. Very honest of him. They sealed the crates in front of us. They didn’t give us attitude about taking pictures of our high valuable list. We just got our HHG delivered yesterday and EVERYTHING made it in the same condition it was at our old house. They sealed the crates so well that the company that delivered our HHG could barely open the crates. They definitely know how to pack. I was very happy with their services. I NEVER leave reviews so they made a big impression on me.
