Have had two windshields replaced here. Super courteous and professional folks. First service I had, the text prompts were going off all day! The second time though, I didn't receive any updates until 30mins before close (even though I dropped my vehicle the night before). That was a little frustrating, as I needed my vehicle for work the following day. Everything worked out though. The only really annoying thing about Safelite (like most companies) is you cannot talk to a real person, via phone EVER. Would recommend for a quick professional windshield job at a decent price (for in and out one day service).

I made an appointment to have my windshield replaced on my F-150. It was great because they handle all the negotiations with the insurance. I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and got a call around lunch that they did not have the correct windshield in stock because the f-150 had 2 different types of windshields. They told me that when I typed in my VIN number that there were 4 extras numbers that I didn't include so they weren't sure which windshield I needed (even though I typed the number directly from my insurance card). The frustrating part is if I didn't include all the information they needed online, why didn't someone call me and ask before I took my vehicle there? My appointment was more than a week after I initially scheduled it so there was plenty of time to reach out. I asked them that exact question and they didn't have any answer to why they didn't reach out to make sure. So, I had to reschedule for the following week. The Safelite technicians did something to break my windshield wiper moter and I was forced to drive home in a storm without wipers. When I turned my car over to the technicians the wipers worked, after I got my car back the wipers did not work. Now I have to have the complete mechanism fixed. Service: Auto windshield replacement

This is the fourth time being at the Satelite in Alton IL . My wife and I are back because the windshield came loose. I'm adding more to my review. Now will be the fifth time of poor service. Our windshield came loose again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My deductible is cheaper than the gas it's cost me to get back and forth. Also the response from the owner is a JOKE. Yes I'm sure they will get it taken care of. AT MY EXPENSE DRIVING THERE ONCE A WEEK. THE WHOLE PLACE IS A JOKE. Service: Auto windshield replacement
