I went in to have a key made. I stood by the area where they mane the keys at the back of the store. No one was there. 2 other customers walked up so 3 of us were waiting. Since I was the first one in line the others said they were going to look for someone to help. I actually called the store from my cellphone to ask if they could send someone to the counter in the back because there were 3 customers waiting to be helped. Not great service. It was almost 10 minutes in total before someone helped. When the 2 other customers came back they said someone will be back to help. There were several employees up front, two behind the counter in the front but no other customers were in the front.

Everytime I come here I find what I need an if I can't find it the workers always help. The prices are reasonable too.

Attentive attention to providing customer service, still lacks. If you can get past having to hunt for things yourself... It's a good store.

Always friendly and helpful staff. They are knowledgeable and care about service. I will choose this store over big box stores every chance I get. We have to support these local stores while they are still around.

I can't express how good an experience I had with words. Key cutting was blazing fast, accurate, and done by a human. The staff is beyond helpful, and the store is not so big that it's a chore getting in and out. I'm done with the big box chains. Ace is the place. Thank you

Went in to buy a grill. They only had a few on display. The salesman told me to go online. I ended up driving to Ace in McHenry and bought a weber there.

One of the last few real hardware stores with employees that understand their products. I am not sure what Beverly Ewert Adrian's issue was as I was greeted by at least 4 employees in the 10 seconds it took me to walk to the back of the store. She must look terrifying! Nicholas was incredible and custom cut and threaded some black pipe for me. Most don't understand this is a lost art in retail. Thanks for being there for me guys!!! <3

The team here at this Ace Hardware was top notch, I came here to Purchase my Traeger Smoker, and let me tell you, there is a reason they are a platinum dealer. They were well stocked, and had me in / out in no time!

There were 2 sets of 3 cast iron pans on top shelf, all I saw was $25.99 thinking helluva deal, also had my BDay rewards coupon .... It rang up at $119.00. Cashier said take photo of it. Well Mgr came and said "Nope cookbooks only!" So my beef is why isn't there multiple price tags depicting each of all the items on that shelf? Why isn't any of the other shelf price labels there either? I was there with my Wife last September and still not priced? What happened to the taking care of the customer? The Helpful Friendly Place? I won't be back......
