order date: Aug 27 2022. Total $191.82, missing items = $74.88 GII Morningstar Gray Cordless blinds. I ordered (5) 36in blinds and (3) 35in blinds to be delivered. I received one box with (5) 36in blinds but I did not receive the (3) 35in blinds. I called the customer service to dispute the order, and home depot Customer service Rep named Demarion said that the only way I can get the money back is by disputing it with my credit card as an unauthorized charge. I told Demarion he is handling this all wrong. I ordered the blinds from home depot, and my money went to home depot. It doesn't matter if it is fedex's or the vendors fault. The blame goes on the one I purchased the items from. I asked Demarion if 74.88 is worth losing a customer for life. He said he is sorry about this mistake but the only way to handle it is to file a dispute with my credit card. This was not handled professionally and Home Depot did lose a customer over 74.88. I will now take my business to Menards, Lowes, or Amazon for any further purchases, and I will not buy anything from home depot moving forward. Your customer service rep did not do an adequate job in handling the problem. Money back or resending another delivery for the missing items would have been the only way to handle this mistake. I ordered a washer and dryer 1 days ago and it could have been from Home Depot but with the way my issue for only $74.88 was handled, I decided buy my LG washer and dryer from Lowes for a total of $1,830. Already losing from trying to be cheap and save 74.88. After this I will be posting a review on facebook, google review, and Yelp to make sure everyone knows how Home Depot handles Minor order mistakes.

Unfortunately this location didn't have what I needed. Had to go to different location. Pretty sad that such a big and successful corporation can't control the stack.

Went to Gurnee Home Depot today, July 16th, proceeded to the self checkout. Took the price gun to scan the bar codes on items that I was purchasing, and the items wasn’t scanning, didn’t see items on the monitor on the register. So, an employee named Dave helped me and he put his ID into self checkout register … and then he said; and I quote “they want to make sure that you’re not a hoodlum” Was it because I was black? Inquiring minds want to know.

Sam at the returns/customer service was so nice, went extra mile to help me order the product and greeted us with big smile at 8am in the morning!! Ive been having bad experiences at the customer service at different locations (niles on dempster especially) but she made me completely forget about those experiences. Thank you for making my morning!! And thanks for complimenting my hair haha!! Definitely coming to this location. 1000/1000! Stan at the appliances was super helpful too. We are so happy we met him. Thank you stand for helping us get range hood and the lg dryer/washer! Thank you stan!

I made multiple trips to this store while installing a new hot water heater at my home. I had to re-route gas and water lines, I was completely lost trying to find the various parts and tools. Sebastian was very knowledgable about the inventory and pointed out the proper materials for the job during each visit. Sebastian’s assistance allowed me to complete the project in one day. Great customer experience.

Victor from the paint department (department supervisor) was SO helpful and generous. When I explained that I was looking for paint samples for a graphic design class, he took an interest/went above and beyond to help me. I wish I could have thanked him more for his kindness.

Online curbside pick-up orders are a waste of time. They take too long to complete. We went shopping to other stores to give them more time and we never got the email with the order being completed. Might as well go in and do it yourself. Get done in 5 minutes.

So disappointed at this store unlike the other stores this one didn’t really be helpful with the customer, I was trying to looking for the stamp on system and battery back up total of $800 and asked for ” manager GILBERT MENDEZ “ to help me with the pricing possibly a small discount But Mr. Gilbert instead of helping me he tried to sell me a credit card I’m at Home Depot shopper and I have a good relationship with other stores but Mr. Gilbert didn’t try to help me in fact he said why would I send it cheaper or market down while I can sell it for this price to you. I even asked for open box item or similar and he said no my store will get store credit for returns I don’t need to market down and sell it to you. This is not the customer service!
