Made an appointment for a booster at this location after a horrible experience at another location. It's expected that pretty much any Walgreens pharmacy will be busy and have a wait time...but it's all in the way the employees handle it. Everyone at the Lyons location is pleasant and they handle the high volume of customers in a very efficient manor. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. At the other location I was told I'd have to wait 30-45 minutes for the shot after standing in line for 30 minutes already and was told I was "lucky" the employee was even there at all. I now know that Lyons is the place to go going forward!

If you need a quick COVID test do NOT go here. My husband needed a quick test after having some minor sniffles and fatigue, otherwise we were going to have to cancel vacation plans as we couldn't risk being enroute and finding out he was positive. We verified the quick test was available at the Lyons location, confirmed that online and guess what, when he arrived for the scheduled appointment, no quick tests available. Ruined our 10th anniversary trip.

Placed a prescription 2 days ago for a patient in pain and in need of antibiotics - They told him there was no script placed for him. Not only did I wait on hold for 1 hour 12 min to place that prescription, I was hung up on twice and now I look like the jerk who didn't do my job. Called back today to replace the prescription and I have been hung up on twice so far, but I've been on hold for 22 minutes hoping I can speak to ANYBODY. This pharmacy needs corporate to come in and do an evaluation to fix whatever is going on in there.

Jamie in the Pharmacy was so kind and professional. There was an issue with my prescription. She got my questions answered and prescription ready. Way to go Jamie! The wait time on the phone was a bit long. That’s why they need to hire more Jamie’s. Thank you Walgreens

Had a horrible experience in the pharmacy today. My mom was trying to pick up a refill for a medication that another Walgreens had shorted her. The original store was out of stock so they sent the refill to Lyons. I guess this was not communicated properly to Lyons. They claimed it was too soon for a refill (which is true...because Walgreens shorted her pills). We asked to speak to the pharmacist. Her name is Malinka and she was extremely rude about the situation. She said she would call the other store and we could wait but she couldn't guarantee anyone would answer. We sat in the waiting area and my mom called the other store herself. She was able to reach them and they confirmed that they sent the refill to Lyons and there shouldn't be any issues. Malinka then called us to the counter and said she called the other store but no one was answering. She flat out lied to our faces. We said that was funny because we literally just got off the phone with them. She then said she couldn't help us as she was late for her meal break. For context, the medication is for a life threatening condition and yet Malinka couldn't be bothered to remedy the situation because she was running late for lunch. We left, went to the original Walgreens and was promptly and politely helped. It's a shame that the Lyons pharmacy could not act professionally. We will not be getting our prescriptions from the Lyons location any longer. Malinka should work on her professionalism and customer service skills.

Horribly slow checkout and pharmacy. There will always be a line and even if it is only 4 people, it takes over half an hour. If you need to call the pharmacy they will literally hang up on you. Avoid at all costs

Needed to pickup prescription drug that other Parmacies did not have in stock, was happy they had it in stock so I could start taking drug right away. They even signed me up for automatic refill so they will text me to pick it up before I run out. Friendly service and wore 😷 masks.

This Walgreens is unfortunately really convenient for me on my way to work. They are consistently out of stock of drinks, like milk or even soft drinks. I asked once if they could check in the back to see if they had anything in stock and it was a prompt NO. The staff here needs to take a crash course on customer service. Rude and unhelpful!

Had an appointment for my son and they never came out to see if we were here and the check in kiosk wasn't working. The door was closed and 30 minutes later they opened it. I asked when they were going to see us and they asked why I didn't knock on the closed door. The concept of being polite didn't occur? I don't know why I would need to do that when literally everywhere else walks out to see if they have patients. I am told to wait again, so fine. Then she asks why I'm here because he's sick and that's serious. Yes, that is why I'm here. To see why he is sick after a negative covid test. She proceeds to not understand I'm looking for a diagnosis and says if it's bronchitis that's viral and nothing can be done. Like they dropped the ball over and over
