I have rather large feet and wide for a woman. I needed a really comfortable well fitting gym shoe. The service I received at The Human Race was stellar. I'm looking forward to doing business with them again soon.

The Human Race store and staff were SUPER helpful at explaining things to me (I was new to all buying better shoes for my feet) and paired me with the perfect shoe for my half-marathon training. The fact alone that most of the time we wear shoes that are too small and for too long was extremely helpful to know. They were kind and it was worth the money for a good shoe that fits and supports the feet properly!

I have worn department store shoes forever; I dealt with plantar fasciitis by going online and found a good shoe insert that fixed me. But when I developed symptoms of Morton's Neuroma - or is Metatarsalgia?? -I knew I needed professional hands - on help. I found it at The Human Race Store and purchased recommended shoes & inserts on a Thursday. By Sunday, and with intermittent wearing in the break in process, I find myself all but pain free! With full days of wearing the new shoes, it has only gotten better. The buying is a process and will take some time, but professional time is one more thing you get when you shop local. I even found a promising lead on a podiatrist when I have been having trouble finding a solid recommendation- as I discovered other underlying medical foot issues thanks to Bill. I'll be back!

This was my first time here and by far the best experience I have ever had with purchasing a running shoe! I thought I had experienced great customer service at Running for Kicks but this experience blew that away! The Staff was more knowledgeable, had better technology, and could tell previous injuries and offered suggestions as to compensate for them. As far as the evaluation the recommendation, It was the same shoe I was currently using, however I learned more about my stride, stance and best possible shoe to compensate for some of the bad habits I have picked up from the military, and various sports I have played throughout my adulthood. I would recommend this store to any beginner, intermediate or advanced runner for selecting the proper shoe for your running style and performance goals. This was an unbelievable experience especially for someone who was brought in a customer a highly regarded service industry!

This was a good experience although we were unable to find me some shoes. They took their time and showed me a lot of options that they recommended for my body mechanics. My feet couldn’t tolerate the shoes they recommended. They tried inserts and adjusted them trying to find a good option for me. They weren’t focused on just making a sale and putting me in anything, they wanted to do what was right for me. I appreciate a store standing on their values and treating you right instead of just taking your money.

Such an incredible experience at this store! I brought my grandma in for a new pair of shoes, and the staff were so patient, knowledgeable about not just their products, but how to fit a proper shoe, and they were overall very helpful. Going through the entire shoe fitting process for my grandma was definitely worth the time, now she doesn’t even want to take her new shoes off! I was even able to try on some Feetures socks - I had no idea trying on socks was even an option! Thank you for a great experience at this store, I will be recommending it to others and can not wait to return for a pair of running shoes for myself!

Highly recommend! I went in as a first time costumer today and had a great time. The gentleman working there was informative but also concise. He evaluated my feet and chose three shoes for me based on his evaluation and the technology he used. All three shoes felt amazing, but together we narrowed it down to the best option, which also happened to be the least expensive! He clearly knew what he was doing because it’s common for me to try on three or more shoes at other stores and not feel comfortable in any of them. The fact that I loved all three was a great surprise. All in all, I left feeling confident that I spent my money wisely and picked out shoes that will make me feel better during my jogs!
