On hold for over 25+ mins and still nobody answered. Terrible customer service aside from the one long timer that’s been there….

This pharmacy is ill equipped to handle orders. The first time I went pharmacy tech told me they did not have my insurance. I went home to get it and call in with the info. This pharmacy does not pick up the phone. I had to call as a provider to get an answer. Then the tech tells me they have my pharmacy card already. The second visit within a week, I was waiting with my sick son. They had me sit for 15 minutes to tell me they are out of amoxicillin. The pharmacy tech then proceeds to point to a bunch of crates and tells me they have not unpacked yet. She then informs me I need to get a script from the doctor to go to another cvs. That I should call to make sure it all works out. I lost it. As a consumer you should want to help and facilitate the situation because it is your fault you do not have this. This pharmacy is a waste of time and they should be ashamed on how this place is run. I will not go back and I think other people should not waste their time as well.

Very poor customer service. Almost an hour wait to get Covid vaccine shot. 7pm appointment and no answer yet when they will get it ready.

Newest: Mike in the pharmacy was super helpful and nice! KZ was super nice and helpful as well! Thanks for restoring my faith in CVS! Eta: we get constant texts to pick up our prescription, get there, and there is no pharmacicst on duty so we cannot pick it up. Older: This place has been progressively going downhill. Their phone system is the most obnoxious thing on the planet. I have been trying to reach a human all day and keep getting hung up on by their system that times out. I have been waiting ALL DAY for a prescription to be filled and have heard nothing. Last time I checked, people usually need medication for LIFE.

Not great. I have to use them because of insurance. Prescriptions not being filled on time or at all would be main problem.

Put in a prescription for a nebulizer on Jan.3rd and called every day to see if it came in. On Jan.9th they tell me it’s out of stock. If they would have told me that from the beginning I would have ordered it on Amazon. Very unprofessional.

Pharmacy efficient, Minute Clinic A+, shelves stocked, front cashiers friendly and helpful. Negatives to see people shopping WITHOUT masks or being worn improperly-Will County has increased Covid cases-they should be stopped at the door and refused service! (Follow Governor rules-please!)

The so called concierge has a horrible attitude. I explained to him that cvs website gave the wrong impression of rapid test for many locations and was transferred to him as a “concierge” hub. The guy was rude, unhappy with his job considering all I was looking for was a rapid Covid test since I’m a health provider who cannot just close or not show up without ruling it out. John change your attitude! Empathy is a good thing on your job!

I went to CVS in Shorewood because my hometown CVS did not have my prescription in stock. They told me Shorewood did. It is an opiate and one I've been on for 11 yrs since being in a horrible car accident. The pharmacist started talking to me about overdosing and getting Narcam. Then he explained the medication brought down respiration. I told him my Dr already told me that. I told him I take it as prescribed. I see a pain management Dr every 2 months. The Dr writes when it is to be filled last. The pharmacist acted like I was an addict and left without saying a thing. I was told by a pharmacy associate that it would be 1 hr to fill but it took almost 2 hours to fill..I only fill at CVS. I called my hometown CVS and let my pharmacist that the Shorewood CVS made me feel like an addict. She said she was very sorry. I asked how I can have it in my hometown CVS. She told me how to so I'm going to do it every month so it's in at my hometown CVS. I dont appreciate being practically called an addicted. I dont overtake it, I keep it in a safe, I only keep 1 day supply in my pill container which stays on my belt loop and in my pocket. I had hand surgery and even that i told the surgeon I was on pain medication and didnt need any since I take one already. I noticed the surgeon wrote a opiate pain medication. I told the nurse to shred it because I was not getting filled. If I was an addict I wouldve taken it and filled it. I didnt get a chance to tell the Shorewood CVS pharmacist. I had not been treated like an addict before. I'm still upset. The car accident was not my fault but 11 yrs later I'm still in extreme pain due to cervical and lumbar spine damage. Life has not been the same since this guy pulled in front of me at 55mph.
