I came to Elements Massage with aches in my neck and shoulders from working at my computer long hours. My massage therapist (Francis) thoroughly worked to ease my stiff muscles. I left feeling 100% better. I was actually very inspired by the improvement. I cannot wait for my next appointment at the beautiful and calm South Barrington location. I have had several massages from Lois at this location and they have all been fantastic. I have been gradually developing muscle pain in my shoulders and upper-back over the last several years. This is probably attributed to years of poor sitting habits. It had gotten to the point of severely distracting my attention away during day-to-day activities. I would jog daily for 2 miles, and I continue to do this. I find that jogging helps keep most of my muscles in decent shape, but I would continue to feel pain regularly in my sore areas. I eventually decided to investigate treatment from massage therapists. Lois has been providing me with 90-minute full-body massages once a month, with particular time and focus dedicated toward my aforementioned shoulder and upper-back muscles. Upon each visit, I enjoy having my full-body treated to the pleasure of a traditional massage, but I especially value Lois's skill and care in loosening knots around my shoulder and upper-back. Several months later, I am pleased to state that the pain I had been experiencing in my sore areas has been reduced markedly. These muscles remain a bit tenser than I would prefer, but I no longer experience pain to the point of it distracting me. I continue to visit Lois once a month, and she continues to further loosen and relieve my upper back and shoulders with each visit. I am very thankful for her services, and I recommend her to anyone else looking to relieve tension in particularly troubled muscles. As for the location itself, the facility is always kept in clean condition, and the staff is always a pleasure to interact with.

WORST PLACE EVER!! BEWARE OF COVID!! If you want to get infected with COVID go here. The owner seriously needs to find new management. Not only is Megan rude and completely out of line for no apparent reason, she has no regard for the people that work at this place. I called to cancel my appointment due to COVID and she was extremely rude and told me I would be charged a cancellation fee of $50 because I should have called sooner (they opened at 9am, I called at 10am), and that I needed to come anyway to avoid the fee. As you all know COVID is not something you can predict. Her ignorance and lack of care for employees and other customers is unbelievable. This is why COVID is spreading the way that it is in the world. This place should be shut down for putting peoples lives in danger. UNBELIEVABLE!! I will be cancelling my membership to avoid putting myself and family at risk!!

Great massages from Bri! The only reason I don’t plan on returning is that it’s expensive for a super short massage and they’re not very transparent about the actual cost of the massage and actual amount of time. Also, freezing cold in the building which made it hard to relax. Very friendly receptionists!

The staff is so friendly & helpful. The place is so clean & private. Prices are fair and the service is amazing! We always celebrate our birthdays & anniversary’s out there… we always travel from Hobart, IN & it’s well worth the drive. Sarah is my absolute favorite & we plan on always recommending you to others and always coming back.

My therapist Jennifer is amazing. I came here for prenatal massages when I was pregnant and have continued after the birth of my twins. Very clean facility in a nice outdoor shopping mall. Location is very convenient. Love it!

I unfortunately would not be able to recommend this location. I received two massages here, both of which I enjoyed, and then opted to purchase the membership. About 30 minutes after leaving, I was called by the receptionist and told my therapist would no longer see me as she did not feel she was a good fit due to “not wanting to hurt me.” They cancelled the appointment I had scheduled. They also suggested I switch to another therapist I had not had, at a completely different time. I’m a healthy, mid-30s adult, and I did not express that I had any concerns. My therapist did not ask me for feedback on the massage or my impression of it. They just independently determined that and then she refused to work with me. It was a very strange experience and honestly made me feel very strange and uncomfortable. It unfortunately has cast a weird light on what I would have otherwise said was a good experience. I cancelled my membership and will be looking for a place that is more collaborative and thoughtful about their interactions with their clients.

I was able to book a last minute appointment. The deep tissue /trigger point massage therapist assigned to me, Nicki, was perfection. Very strong, knowledgeable and taught me a lot to do at home. I only had an hour, but I felt like I was floating when I walked out. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. I ended up signing up for the monthly package! The environment was soothing without being pretentious. Located in the beautiful Arboretum of South Barrington, great location to my work. I wish I convinced myself to go sooner.
