We spent a ton of money here the day we went. It had everything we needed. We needed wrestling shoes and so e weights. Ended up buying everything we needed plus a few other things. Nice courteous staff and overall clean and friendly atmosphere.

Had a problem with a Lowrence fish finder. Took it back to Academy Sports in Evansville, In. Talked to Chris who I assume was the store manager; he was very helpful in solving the issue. Honestly this store needs a better soccer section. But they have a pretty good selection of girls athletic appeal.

Very helpful employees! I had no clue about football gear and they hooked me right up with everything. I could not find cleats anywhere in town except here. There were very few left but thankfully we found a pair. It is a neat store. They have everything you need for any sport and other different items. I will most definitely be back!!

So I am from out of state my daughter lives in Evansville I have been to Academy twice great store great selection I am a big gun guy I always look at guns at different stores. But I have a problem with a younger kid with short black hair he is so rude and not very friendly you would think he would ask you if you needed help all I got was a head Bob this is the second time he has acted that way I would never buy a gun from unfriendly people. There is a older guy that is very friendly

They have a nice variety of outdoor and sporting items. Their ammo is reasonably priced and they frequently have good sale items. I regret that they have apparently discontinued the sale of the more rare 25 and 32acp ammo.

I would rather shop here than Bass pro shop got the best deal in town I bought a rod and a real separately and still it was under $100 and it's working just fine staff are friendly big place should check it out

Academy has good customer service, a good selection, and competitive prices (the price match policy is great). The store and restrooms are always clean, waits are usually short to check out except at the busiest times.

While it is a little expensive, they do have a surplus of ammo and the other things that you would need. I always get drawstring bags from here and they are of good quality.

This store was absolutely fabulous! They gave us a discount that we couldn’t get anywhere else on a bulk purchase of bicycles for the Martin County Christmas Toy Store. We purchased 42 bikes and will donate these and more to our local kids. We really appreciate what Chris Herbert and his staff did to support kids in Martin County! White River Masonic Lodge #332
