We became Costco members, the first week of July. One month in, we are very happy with our decision to join. We have made, about, half of the yearly membership cost back, in our pockets, with the two percent automatic rewards program. In addition to the percentage, we have made money as we shop. I know this is sounding like I’m writing an advertisement. I’m not. I am just putting it out there, it’s up to you to decide if my opinions and my experience have merit. I don’t get paid by anybody, I tell it like is… Back to the commercial… The idea is straightforward, Costco buys bulk product in greater quantities than the normal store. The advantage is a lower price per “unit”. And there ya go, their savings equals our savings. For you to profit as much as possible, you need to plan, calculate, develop your strategies, adjust as needed, brag about your savings and have fun shopping. It may take a little work but it’s worth the benefit. I see prices as “cost per unit” and compare the amount against other stores and I know we are saving money. Your plan is more than just a shopping list. You must determine the amount of product that you will use prior to spoilage and have storage capacity for. Calculate the amounts per unit and compare against other options. Develop and adjust as needed. I hope this answers the emailed questions about my recent trips to Costco. Jeff

From Ohio and these were the best liquor prices we have seen in a long time . Kirkland brand bourbon is amazing. In fact all of the Kirkland brand liquors are great!

What's NOT to love about Costco. This place is always fun. Inventory can change all the time and they are always getting new things in stock and strive to give members great deals. My only complaint is I always come home with things I don't really need and spend too much... LOL This location has tire service and eye glass area. Even tho I didn't buy my glasses here they always are willing to look at them if something is wrong or I just need a new nose piece. LOVE IT. They usually have pretty good deals on tires too and they fixed a flat for me and was about half the price that other tire stores would have charged. I highly recommend Costco and the Ft Wayne location.

Everything I wanted was in stock, and the store wasn't crazy busy like it is on the weekend. I found out that I had actually paid my membership fee twice, so I was pleasantly surprised with a nice refund! Then we filled up at the gas station and saved money there too!

It’s very comforting when you walk into a Costco and it feels familiar. Although, it may have a few items that are different or unique to the area. They still have that hot dog and soft drink and it’s still a great value.

Saturday before Memorial Day and it was packed! Despite the long lines the self checkout was quick and painless. Good products, good prices, slow checkout. All in all still a great experience.

They have neat products and it's fun to look around, but I see this as more of a large house-hold or business type wholesale store. For a house of 2 it's not beneficial. You might get more products for less, but buying in bulk requires having more space for it. I see it as more of an occasional stop with family that has a membership. Personal situations aside, I think the company as a whole is very respectable.

Costco has been a staple in my shopping since they opened here in town. Since then the transfer of wealth happens 2-3 times a week! I mean, who gets out of there for less than two hundred? I’m here so often my car knows what days I need to visit and offers to prepare turn by turn navigation to where it knows I want to be! We enjoy most of the Kirkland brands and our dog loves the grain free Kirkland dog food. Just go, I’m sure I’ll see you there!

They seem to have everything but Oreos the last 3 times we’ve been in there. But you get quantity for a decent price. The steaks are definitely worth it too. Cause you can cut them into so many steaks and have multiple meals with them. Costco is definitely the way to go.
