Really bad customer service. When questions regarding your mails are asked, the lady at the counter makes you feel like you are asking her for coins. In my opinion, they should be taught how to treat customers.

I had to get a post office box and found a good location at this USPS in Munster. The staff was very courteous and was super helpful in getting my mail forwarded.

This post office was a decent post office at one time. The usual friendly and helpful female that used to be at the counter was not in today. I hope she was just off today. My experience was quite bad. The person that handles passports was useless. Incapable of explaining what I needed to present due my expired passport and change of name. She just kept repeating I needed copies. Again, due to my circumstances, I didn't know what all was needed. After she told me what I needed to make copies of, she made sure to tell me she gets off at 3. I come back with copies in hand under the assumption she would not be able to help me since it was four minutes to 3. She didn't even bother to look up or make eye contact. Clearly, customer service is not her forte. The other female who was unable to process passports was by far more helpful. Just sad that so many post office people hate their jobs or customers. If you're that miserable, do something.

We came to this location for a scheduled appointment on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00am to renew passports for myself and my son. We followed the exact instructions given online for the documents necessary for the passport renewal process, including originals and copies of all necessary documentation that was stated on the website. The female worker at the counter was extremely rude and clearly had no idea how to properly process a passport application and looked at us in disbelief as if we had come unprepared. We did not feel like our passports would be properly processed with this employee so we decided to go to a different location to get them processed. I would highly recommend going to a different location for passport applications as this one is extremely ill-equipped to do so.

The two women that was working on 8/21/21 Were very rude and not helpful. They shouldn't work in the customer service field. One of the employees even called a customer a liar whe the customer was waiting to purchase a passport. I wouldn't recommend this Postal Service site to anyone until these two employees are replaced for their rudeness towards customers.

Employees bend the covid rules so they can be lazy & do less for customers. Won't let more than 3 ppl inside at once if they are helping them or not. Customers were congregating at the service island less than 3ft apart but I was told to wait outside. Not the 1st time they have been rude in regards to this.

Nice location. However staff are generally rude and unwelcoming. Good for dropoffs and quick services. If you want more lengthy services such as sending packages or passport application, go to another branch.

Our church shipped 20 boxes full of warm wishes and study buddy presents. They were extremely helpful and patient with us and we were very pleased with the outcome.

Had a really great experience with this place. I was worried due to all the bad reviews but literally every USPS has nothing but 1 stars so I went here. Deborah was really polite from the moment I walked in. I sent out a package, a letter and bought stamps all within 2 minutes and was on my way. Will definitely go here again.
