5 Star service. Was out of town visiting our sons University when my car notified me of an urgent issue. Had the car towed to Basney Imports at around 2:30pm on a Friday and they were closing at 6pm for the weekend. We needed to go home the next day. The Service advisor Josh told us they will do their best to check the car but they were extremely busy and short on technicians. He must have sensed our desperation because he told us that the Service Manager, Dean, would look at the car. Like a professional he found the issue and repaired the car within an hour. These guys were life savers. Also, a nice gentleman, Chad, showed his off his Salesmanship by offering to sell us a car just in case. They took a bad situation and made it pleasant with their honesty and friendliness. We live over 600 miles away but when I buy another BMW it will be at Basney Imports. Could not have found a better staff to help us in our time of need. Thank you Josh, Dean, and Chad. Bless you guys and Go Irish!

I purchased a brand new BMW x3. I had three separate customer service issues with Basney BMW. The first was an oil change that leaked all over my garage. They fixed the leak, but left off the oil pan cover. They did not apologize for the oil leak or the inconvenience it caused. They never replaced the cover. Next I called one evening, it was 10 minutes before they closed. My key fob didn't work and I didn't know what was wrong. When I called to ask for help, telling them I was stranded and didn't know what was wrong with the fob, they transferred me to the service dep; no answer. I called again, no answer. It was before six and no one answered the phone. Next I needed to order a new key fob. I gave them all my information and then no response. I emailed twice asking if they received my email. Nothing. I called Ziegler BMW in Kalamazoo, MI and they ordered a new fob for me on the spot. I am finished with Basney. When I purchased my SUV all they did was brag about their customer service. My service experience has been terrible. I hope others have better luck.

Fantastic staff, service and results! Denny is absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, he made the process of designing and acquiring my new build - fun and seamless 🤩 Also, the service staff / mechanics / body shop at Basney BMW are top notch. As the daughter of a mechanic, I know very well just how challenging and grueling the work is, that these people do. I have always received the best, thorough and honest service here and recommend them without reservation.

My 2018 BMW M3 Competition had an annoying squeak on cold starts, emanating the serpentine belt area, around the alternator. It seemed like the alternator and/or water pump would need to be replaced. The service team however, correctly diagnosed the issue as just needing a new belt and to my surprise it’s back to normal. My Service Advisor, Dean Wirth, takes care of customers with a super friendly attitude and goes out of his way to make sure the customer is accommodated, and happy. If you have a late model BMW that needs service in the Michiana area, give Basney a call and ask for Dean.
