Best place in town for supplements, minerals, elixirs and more hands down. They’re food selection always has something new to offer. They’re produce is sincerely more full of flavor than other grocers in town, probably because it’s all REAL food. If you like organic non-gmo food then go here.

I really enjoy shopping here. The staff and manager is friendly and helpful. I have asked for a couple of products that I wanted to regularly purchase and the next week I was shopping the items were stocked. I shop here weekly and it is my main grocery store.

After my brother had a massive heart attack, I wasn't sure what he could eat with every artery blocked he had 4 stents. I went to find heart healthy foods and Shelby was my personal shopper. She was truly knowledgeable and helped me find items that would work and gave me new ideas and suggestions s. She was kind and really was sincerely interested to know how everything worked out. When i was not sure at all how to start a new suitable diet plan, Shelby was helpful locating items through the store and offered great guidence. Now we are adjusting. Love the staff here. Great products. Also, when you just need five more minutes.....store hours are good. Thanks natural Grocer.

When shopping exclusively for sale items, one can leave here with quite an impressive haul for a surprisingly low bill. ...but finding the sales is an experience that resembles a scavenger hunt as they are randomly placed throughout the store. Other Natural Grocers organize their sales into particular sections. This one...not so much (despite having dedicated sections). And don't expect to be greeted, helped, or encouraged to purchase anything here. Other Natural Grocers have helpful enough staff, often times the cashiers are almost too talkative. Here, at the Cedar Rapids store, you mostly just get stares. Like, the cashier will stare at you while you box/bag up your own purchases. And that cashier will be the assistant store manager, leaving you with some sense of why no one talks to anyone else if the management acts like this. Someone call corporate. So prepare yourself mentally to be completely autonomous in this space and then, if you're like us, you'll just sigh a sigh of relief that it's all over when you leave...until you go back because those sales are so good.

I never seem to find the items I need here. It is a very nice store, very clean with good looking produce. Unusual frozen meet selection: wild boar, ostrich, Yak, Bison.... They have a large selection of frozen meals, desserts, cheese, dairy. I love how many different types of refrigerated uncured meats they have. I never have problems running in and out even though it is located on a very busy street.
