Our daughter was driving across country and her suv started making a clunking noise. I called and spoke to 2 employees who were very nice and helpful. They got her right in and fixed the issue and she was back on the road in no time. So happy we found B&D. Our daughter said the employees were very friendly and the waiting area was very pleasant. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. We live in Illinois. Our daughter was traveling to Iowa City and had car trouble on Interstate 80. I found B&D Automotive online and directed her there. She had to leave her car there overnight and I called the next morning to make arrangements for repair. From the first call with Cory, our experience was great. Even though we did not have an appointment, they agreed to look at the vehicle right away that morning. The car trouble caused my daughter to be in a bit of a bind but B&D not only diagnosed the problem but had it fixed by early afternoon. They communicated well and handled everything professionally. They definitely exceeded my expectation. If you are in the Walcott, IA area and have a need for automotive services, I cannot recommend B&D highly enough. Service: General repairs & maintenance

My brake calipers broke, blowing out the piston, and losing a brake pad leaving me with no brakes on I-80 and stranded with little options in Walcott with 300 miles to go on my trip. Corey got me in, got the necessary parts, and put me back on the road in under 2hrs. I would have paid anything for the service, but he charged me fairly and honestly. If you're in the area and need service, I cannot recommend B&D enough

We absolutely love & trust Jerry, Cory and Patricia! We have taken our personal & my husband's work vehicles there for the last 8 years! They are incredibly knowledgeable and great at what they do! Any problems we've ever had with our vehicles were fixed right the first time and with a few days, if not the same day!! We highly recommend them because you won't be disappointed!

My car died two and a half hours away from home. I was able to barely make it into their parking lot. Within 2 hours they had ordered the needed part and had me back on the road. Service was great and prices were fair. I wish they were closer to where I lived, I’d make them my go to mechanic.
