eclectic place. great prices and service. had the homemade meatloaf and wow!!! it really is amazing. but the real killer of it was the cobbler at the end. it is very very fresh made to order. amazing filling options with great aot and sugar topping baked fresh. I'd have 3 different kinds of that for appetizers, main and desert. Savannah at the bar provides above duty service and makes everyone feel welcome.

First time here and wasn't disappointed. I order the beef liver and onions and he ordered the meatloaf, with salad bar. The meal was delicious 😋. The staff and server was friendly the decor definitely had that country vibe. Overall the experience was great. Lots of great gift items available.

Came on the recommendation of a friend. Tried the bar side Saturday night and sadly waited 45 mins for a waitress to acknowledge my existence. Asked about a wifi password that never materialized (they do have wifi), and Service following that was lack lustre at best so I paid and left. Decided to try again on Sunday for Lunch, thinking that with all the good I had heard, it must have been an off night. Was seated immediately, asked the hostess about wifi, she said she’d go get the password and be back, never to return. Waitress on Sunday was prompt, I ordered my drink which she repeated, but I thought she repeated the incorrect drink. As she walked away I restated my request and was completely ignored. Upon returning, I asked if it was in fact what I had ordered (diet v regular soda) and was greeted with a sharp attitude. All interactions following the initial unpleasantness however, were fine. Food Saturday was standard fare and appropriately priced. (Wings) Food Sunday, was less so, but everybody makes nachos differently and they weren’t bad, just not what I’m use to. Overall, a pass from me on future trips, although I can see where the atmosphere and menu selection would draw crowds.

Superb meal! Very good salad bar that included very excellent mushroom soup. The pot roast was excellent. The veggies had just the right amount of crunch. Every bit as good as my wife's cooking which is saying a lot! Tracy was right there waitress. The only thing that ruined it was I couldn't eat it all!

I was not disappointed, the food was perfect. More salad than I can eat and plenty of the meatloaf and fixings. I finally found a place to eat that isn’t fast food and that means a lot for me as a truck driver. Thank you!!

Very nice and friendly staff but the food I received was not good. I got the south of the border skillet. The sausage was weird and burnt, and everything else just wasn’t good with it either. The biscuits and gravy were cold we I received it, and traveling on an 18 hour drive, it was a little upsetting not being able to eat some good food to start the day. Especially with no time to order anything else due to us needing to get on the road. The atmosphere was great though. The manager was also very nice and understanding and did not charge us for the meal.

Cute place. Loved the portions & the food tasted great. Mashed potatoes were flavored nicely The steak was Delicious, with gravy aplenty.

We have become regular visitors. Every time we get a load across 80 e always stop in to eat one of the many amazing meals they have on the menu. I've had the loaded tots, brisket, tacos, pot pie, meatloaf and Susie q - everything has been spot on. Why people would pay for overpriced mediocre food next door at the Iowa 80 is a mystery when you can get great quality home cooked food right here.

This was a 25min wait for these potatoes skins . while 3 other tables came in after me and had food before Me . Then argue about the time and told me they were made fresh . Plenty of places to choose from in area

Stopped in for lunch. It was like stepping into my great grandmas kitchen. Very unique theme. Love it. Service was quick. My wife ordered the grilled chicken, and I went with their “famous pork tenderloin.” The wife said her sandwich was very good. Nice n juicy flavor. My tenderloin was awesome. It was the perfect size. Great flavor. The breading was just right. Didn’t need any condiments to add flavor it was just perfect! Would definitely stop again!
