I was in on Sunday after my dog had thousands (and I mean thousands) of seed ticks hatch on her and alll over my home to pick up whatever I could to help. I had called several emergency vets and no one would offer any help or advice. I walked into the grooming salon and asked if they did any kind of treatments. The gal kindly told me no and asked what was going on. After having a full break down her and her coworker offered me many suggestions and kind words on what to do. Sooo thankful for the gals that day. Their advice really helped get the ticks under control fast as well as make me feel better after having such a terrible morning. To the girl with the orange hair and her coworker, thanks so much for going above and beyond and helping a dog mom on her worst day!

Our first experience as new pet owners at Petco was fun. Our dog loved being able to assist in his shopping. Not sure if my partner will get over the dog smelling like peppermint, but hey the dog likes it. I will too if it keeps the bugs off him and the furniture

This is definitely one of the better chain pet stores out there. A lot of animals are rescued. I've gotten hamsters, rats, and guinea pigs from here and they're all still alive. They also sell various good products for your animals. The employees are very nice. Before purchasing an animal, they make sure you have an adequate enclosure and are able and willing to care for the animal. Its good that they have their well-being in mind. My problem lies with the fish. Most fish ive gotten from here (i dont get them here anymore) carry a disease, infection, or die within days of purchase.

In comparison to the PetSmart up the road, this place has friendly helpful (familiar) people, a cozy atmosphere (not warehouse-like) and better selection for what I need from a pet supply store. Better fish selection for sure.

Well the wrong ordwr was brought out to me. That was no issue at all the lady was super kind and fixed it, no worries. The reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is becauae the cashier)I had to go in and exchange be a use the food I ordered was the wrong one), was so rude and condescending. Her name was Jessie and she was young, I would assume is the generation, but not an excuse.

While they have a wide ranging slection, it's hard to get help. The prices are also not that great, but in a pinch they will do. Nothing really stands out, but glad there is a large pet store near by.

Love this store. They had Happy Birthday dog cookies in the shape of a bone!! Our dogs loved it!! I believe it was apple cinnamon.

I like the store and I got my fish from here but most of animals are to animaly. Also the snakes turtles and fish are slimy and so are the turtles. I think all the hamsters and rats and other small fluffy animals are too furry. Not only are the animals in cages but the fish are in tanks with water and I don’t think fish survive long enough in water. Anyways the place is big and has a lot of food I don’t personally like the food but my dog does. They also don’t have my size in clothes but they have my dogs size and that’s good cause he is handsome in them.

Went in to get fish. Not only was there a beautiful variety, but Shannon was the best part of the trip. She was very knowledgeable about all the fish, helped us find what we needed for our tank to be successful and took time to teach us how to care for our new pets. We will be back!
