For those of you who become upset because I don’t allow drinks, to go containers, backpacks or open carry: no one has ever been singled out… the entire 14 years I have been open this has been posted on my door and applied to everyone… this is not the mall where damaged items get thrown in the trash – I am responsible for each and every item consigned here – no open carry in a small shop where children are sometimes present is just a no-brainer… For those of you who I cannot take your items: I try to take what my customers are looking for…while I would love to take everything that comes in the door, it just isn’t possible… many of you get bounced from one shop to another and are frustrated when I cannot accept your items or pay cash for your items… it is always helpful to call first so this doesn’t happen… To the consignor who stated I lost her items: the 2 necklaces you said were not yours were…you took another consignor’s items and when yours sold the money was credited to her account… For those of you who love to visit but felt ignored: just start a conversation or join in the ongoing one… everyone who knows me well knows how much I love to just yak, yak, yak and that I would never pass up the opportunity to visit with anyone! I always see this cute shop and never have time to stop. I was at dollar tree and decided to drop in finally. The owner automatically gave me and my friend a dirty look. Ok fine, still going to look around. I thought this could be my new favorite little thrift shop. Proceed to look at some clothes on a rack as she aggressively advises me I can’t touch them because they haven’t been logged yet. I have worked retail all my life and I’m not sure if that’s how she treats everyone or it was an off day. Point being, I did not receive a warm welcome and will not be back. There are some cute things so hopefully she is more kind to others and it can be a good place for someone else!

DO NOT consign with Tana as several of my items were “lost” at the end of my consignment period. Two of several items that couldn’t be found are sterling silver rings. She puts sterling silver in a locked display case and although they were not in there she told me they could be anywhere in the store. When I asked her where else besides at the front of the store with the rest of the jewelry they could be she became impatient and rude with me. It was clear after searching the entire store and her tone, the “missing” items (other jewelry/clothing) would not be found. I thought possibly a clerical error however she insisted if they were sold, it would be in her records as sold. I left feeling ripped off & bullied. On a humorous side note, since I had to walk around the entire store & search each rack for my items that didn’t sell, I used a pen that was on the counter by the register to mark off on sheet of paper my items as I found them. One of many pens on the counter. Guess it was her special pen because she asked me midway through my search “did you take my pen off the counter?” 🙄

I went in after going to my class while waiting for my ride. I was walking by and thought this might be a good place to find my daughter's teacher something. I wasn't really greeted, with a hello or can I help you find something. I liked what I seen, pretty jewelry priced cheaply. I had my backpack on and made my way to ask if they had a particular thing and she said we don't have stuff like that here. I was looking for a compass design on a necklace. Not dead set on buying because I really liked the jewelry they had. She seen I had my backpack on and told me they don't allow people to walk around with backpacks, sure no problem. I asked her about the shop as I like the products and she wasn't very friendly. I walked around and seen their sign (picture included) That topped off my experience here. The lady wasn't welcoming and neither was the sign. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. No harm no foul. Not that my $20.00 matters. I just didn't like the way the lady acted. I found it amusing there is another sign hung up saying something about an attitude make a big difference when the lady was not very very welcoming.

I wasn't really greeted, with a hello or can I help you find something. I liked what I seen, pretty jewelry priced cheaply. I had my backpack on and made my way to ask if they had a particular thing and she said we don't have stuff like that here. I was looking for a compass design on a necklace. Not dead set on buying because I really liked the jewelry they had. She seen I had my backpack on and told me they don't allow people to walk around with backpacks, sure no problem. I asked her about the shop as I like the products and she wasn't very friendly. I walked around and seen their sign (picture included) That topped off my experience here. The lady wasn't welcoming and neither was the sign. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. No harm no foul. Not that my $20.00 matters. I just didn't like the way the lady acted. I found it amusing there is another sign hung up saying something about an attitude make a big difference when the lady was not very very welcoming.

The Sale Days are ridiculous! $50 and I had 5 classy outfits! I keep going back because the clothes are in good condition or look new and the majority of prices are good too. I have taken every relative of mine that comes into town there and we always walk out with a couple bags. Great size selection too. Very pleased with this business.
