Update: I heard that the location was under new management so we have went back a few times and we haven't experiences any of the issues that I previously stated. The food is always delicious and comes out super quick. However, the service is sometimes spotty. Previous Post: When I heard that Chuy’s was coming to Hamburg I was excited because we live in the area. We frequent the Chuy’s on Nicholasville road so this location was much more convenient. However, I have been three times and every time has been awful. The first time we went we were able to get a seat at the bar so we didn’t have to wait an hour to be seated. It’s a new restaurant so the wait times are still high. When I received my food there was a hair in it. When I showed the waitress/bartender she took it over to the manager. He happened to be standing at the end of the bar. When she told him he looked like he just shrugged it off. He did not come over and acknowledge what had happened or apologize. He just continued watched a game that was on one of the bar TV’s. The second time we called the order in so we didn’t have to wait. They said the wait was about 40minutes for curbside. My boyfriend had called the order in and pickup it up. We had ordered cheese and we had to microwave it because it had already thickened. Also, when I bit into my enchilada it was cold. Not warm, cold like they hadn’t heated up the chicken. I microwaved it and even after a minute and a half the chicken just reached room temp. With the other two experiences I was hesitant to go back but we love the other location so much I thought I would give it one more shot. I ordered online and set the pickup time as 5:15pm. When I got there around 5:10pm I didn’t expect anyone to come out right away as my pickup time was 5:15pm. However, I ended up having to get out of my car when the time hit 5:25pm and went and asked a waiter if I was supposed to go inside. I had been sitting there for 15 minutes as multiple waiters/waitresses had passed by and had not been acknowledged once. The manager had also passed by twice. The waiter said I was supposed to call and tell them I was there. Nowhere in my email confirmation did it say I needed to call when I arrived and the sign for curbside had their phone number but also did not say anything about calling. I called and told them I had been waiting and she said that they do not check the curbside spots regularly. I finally received my food, which I had to microwave.

Our service was awesome! The food was great! I want to brag on the server John M. in the Hamburg location for a minute. This gentleman greeted us after we were seated, took our drink order, and when we ordered he was like a walking menu! This young man guided us through our order, which really impressed the whole table of his knowledge of the menu and the ingredients of each item of our menu choices. Every pass that he took by the table he would check to see what was needed. Regardless of the food, I would recommend this place just for the excellent service this young man provides. I hope he sees this and knows how much the entire table appreciated his work. 10 stars just to him

We had a very enjoyable meal here. This place gets high marks for decor, food, and service. I ordered some tacos (one chicken on beef). The meat was still tender and juicy and I loved the different sauces you could get to go on top. A little torn on the chips n salsa situation. Love the salsa and dips but the chips are so thin it is hard to get a decent portion of salsa without breaking the chip. That said, still good :)

Had a great experience yesterday. Our waiter was super attentive. I don't remember his name (had locs tho) and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. My mother who is undergoing chemo & can not have undercooked meat or tolerate anything spicy let the waiter know and he made sure her food was cooked throughly and even brought out a bowl with a sample of the fajita so my mom could see if it was too spicy. We were super appreciative of that! I tried the Pancho nachos this time. Not my fave from chuys but pretty good.

Came in last night, was a tad busy but as expected for a Friday night. Food was great…. the service, not so much. Our waitress was a taller Hispanic woman I didn’t catch her name. She was very short and rude to my family and I. At first we just took it because they were busy…We got everything we needed when we needed it, but the attitude/tone threw the whole meal off for me. I love Chuys.. Hope to be back soon, with a different waiter this time round

First-time going here, the service was excellent. It's a bit crowded in the restaurant, but the decorations were neat to look at. The food was okay; I think I was expecting a little more flavor. The Tres Leches was DELICIOUS! A little pricey, but the overall experience was good.

Stopped in only because we saw the Restaurant. We're from AZ and they closed our favorite Chuy's years ago. We are on a 6000 mi road trip though the country and had to stop in. We happened to be served at the bar by what we think was the Manager/Owner(?). He was so personable, generous and friendly!! The salad we got "to-go" was delicious and fresh. The chips and dressings (we didn't know which dressing we wanted, so he gave us samples) he served us were fresh and yummy. The beer was super cold and the bartender and other staff was so friendly as well. We wish we could've stayed longer! Thanks for being there for us Chuy's!!!

My wife and I have discovered our new favorite restaurant in the Man O War/Hamburg area. We ate here for the first time on a Monday and liked the service and food so well that we went back five days later on Saturday! Our server was a red haired girl who also serves as a bartender and her EXCELLENT service brought us back less than a week later. Thanks so much Ma'am and we'll be back! Our favorite is the Chuychanga and the frozen strawberry margarita is awesome! I wish we had gotten our servers name and will get it next time, but, if you see the red haired bartender, she is super nice and provides great service to go along with the great food! You will have to eat at a table near the bar. Just leave one for us for our next visit. Thanks so much!

Amazing food & perfect service. William at the bar went over & above to make our visit the best ever. Cold Beer starts it off w their signature salsa & ranch dip. We added queso & tomatillo sauce. We came for the Tortilla soup which did not disappoint. The Steak Burrito & Chicka Boom were excellent as always. Management here reflects consistent and quality service & food. Cannot wait to return.
