Very rude employees. Acted like it was a complete inconvenience for me to be picking up my medicine. Rolling eyes and shaking head as I answered the questions they asked. First and last time using this pharmacy.

Horrible experience every time we go. Line takes an hour to get through. Sometimes after waiting for an hour, meds aren’t ready even though they said it was. The staff act like it is a hassle to help.

Worst RX ever. Do not go here. The drive thru is closed most of the time. The line inside takes roughly 45 mins to get through. You can find the reps in the back chit chatting. No one answers the phone. Was on hold for an hour. Even got a supervisor involved, Stephanie, said she walked over there and someone named Kimberly was going to pick up but 20 minutes later no one did. Had to get back to work myself after almost an hour and half dealing with this nonsense!! I refuse to use this pharmacy ever again and strongly encourage no one else to use it. Even for convenience. Their attitude is horrible. They have no urgency. I feel nothing but frustration right now. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst. Rx.

Incompetent. Had 2 refills remaining on a prescription and they told me they had no refills. Called my Dr (who called my pharmacy to straighten out while I was still on the phone with the Dr office), and they spoke to pharmacy and got it sorted... I thought. Tried to pick up my prescription that afternoon, and called prior to be sure it was ready. I was told "you have no refills and we never heard from your Dr's office." I tried to explain that I was present at the store and on the phone with my Dr while their office called the pharmacy and got things sorted this morning. They then placed me on hold and hung up on me. Twice. Didn't answer the phone for the rest of my attempts to reach them. Then I resorted to calling the actual Kroger store manager. Before I was ever able to explain my situation and that I needed to reach someone regarding a medication, she cut me off and told me that the "pharmacy is too busy and understaffed to answer the phone. You need to come in in person." To which I (rather frustratedly) responded that I had already been in once in person today, hung up on twice, and the phone was still ringing off the hook on my husband's phone (rang off hook continuously for over 33 minutes without anyone answering). They transferred me to another manager after sitting on hold for 5 minutes. Explained the whole situation to another manager. Was told he would "go see what's going on over in the pharmacy," and was hung up on. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I NEED A HEART MEDICATION! IT'S PRETTY IMPORTANT!!

Staffing is woefully short and the Kroger Pharmacy team members in the Middletown, KY locations are unfortunately incredibly overworked. I feel for them greatly...they do not deserve this. Kroger leadership is failing their Pharmacy team members, and their customers. The Kroger Company needs to be more creative in their hiring and retention practices. I will be moving all my prescriptions to another local pharmacy very quickly. I wish I did not have to do this in being a 30+ year customer of Kroger, but the pharmacy service and mistakes have simply become unacceptable. Someone is leadership needs to stop making excuses and once again find a way to attract and retain team members.

My NEW PHARMACY has been trying their best to get a hold of Kroger to transfer my prescriptions. At least my new pharmacy Middletown Pharmacy & Wellness take the time out to actually make me the priority ! & The wait times are little to nothing & there.

ANSWER THE @&$# PHONE. Seriously. ANSWER THE BLOODY $&#@ PHONE. This place is the absolute worst. I let the phone ring for 30 minutes and nothing on more than one occasion. The "customer service" person was unable/unwilling/unapologetic when I tried to enlist their help. I'm not going into this place just to wait 30-40 minutes in queue to have 30 second conversation. I simply will not go into this location ever again, including to shop for groceries. I realize the people here are slammed. Constantly. It's Kroger's fault for thinking they can automate everything, but 35 minutes and still nobody picks up? This is AFTER the website refill requests didn't get filled AND being overcharged by $60 for the one refill they managed to thoughtfully bestow upon me. I thought my local Walgreens was the worst. Congratulations. You cleared that bar in heels with room to spare.

I am sorry to have to rate this Kroger Pharmacy a 1. A ZERO would be given if possible. Slow beyond belief. Drive thru shut down. Over worked staff & stressed out customers. I am going to have to find another Pharmacy. This one shows no signs of improvement or even interest in improvement.

DO NOT GO HERE. I would give them 0 stars if I could. My experience today was the last straw for me and I will be switching locations. 3 separate times they have messed up my medication and have been extremely rude to me. I’ve been waiting for 5 days for a refill of medication that I’ve been getting for years now. On the day it was supposed to be ready I went to pick it up and they told me it wasn’t ready yet. I came back the next day and they told me they couldn’t fill it for me, with no real explanation and never called to let me know so that I could go to another pharmacy. I brought in a new prescription from my doctor and they said they’d have to see if they could fill it. On my third visit today they then tell me it’s out of stock and they’d have it tomorrow. This is a necessary medication that I needed YESTERDAY and they’re telling me it’s out of stock 5 days after I requested a refill. They didn’t let me know yesterday that it was out of stock, they never called over the past 5 days to tell me it was out of stock. I requested a refill early because I knew this would happen. Last time I filled this prescription the exact same thing happened and I was left waiting for a week. Not to mention, the woman I dealt with at the window was very rude to me after telling her that I needed this medication. Save your time and energy and go to a different location! I’m not sure what their issue is but it needs to be dealt with ASAP.

Staff at the pharmacy called me letting me know that my medicine was ready at 3. After work I got there they told me they when out and I would need to wait until Tuesday. Also without a call from my doctor could not transfer. I am out of prescription and it 6pm on a Friday my doctor is not open til Monday. Had to spend the weekend in the urgent care.yay. I have been going to this pharmacy for five years never again.
