WARNING!!!! THEY RECYCLED OUR LAPTAP. Wanted to warn others of a very recent experience. We brought in a desktop from this store. We brought our LAPTOP was only brought in to TRANSFER Data, yet they DESTROYED IT. We purchased a new desktop.and everyone catered to us until after paid for. Our order was cancelled once because a pick up time was not established. No one informed us this was needed. The items were picked up AND we assumed the laptop was in the box, Got home and it was not. We made a trip to store and was told the head of the GEEK SQUAD, James C. Sent to recycling. My mother was blamed by him that she requested this. Borderline elder abuse as she is older and that it was HER FAULT for the mistake. I made plenty of trips and it was always that the laptop comes back and only recycle OLD DESKTOP. The general manager, KYLE, was useless as she said she pulled the video and saw mom talking to James so she took his "side". Video is not audio. They need a better practice of dealing with people's personal property. This was a horrendous experience. We have spendt many hours with corporate trying to make this right. I will never enter this store again.

Tried to take something back I’ve had less then 30 days and they said they have a 15 Day return policy. Not even for store credit. WTFO?

Found my needed USB B - adapters. Some items were out of stock which is typical for our post covid pandemic world. Staff is knowledgeable.

People who work here are mostly on their phones or chatting with other employees. They don’t care about getting a sale. I stood around and waited for help. Shop elsewhere

Had an item clearly marked $40 off as a clearance item. Same item as item underneath and everything. I was told by Mackenzie that the clearance marking was incorrect. Clearly if something is marked clearance that's the price it should be per BestBuy corporate. I was informed that if they mark it incorrectly they have to honor the price shown. Guess I just need to get my electronics from Newegg moving forward.

Absolutely horrific!! Ryan S. and Patrick B. will make a lot of promises but will not fulfill any of them. I spent thousands for theater and exterior entertainment. It’s been over a month and still no product. They communicated thoroughly up front until I paid for my equipment. After payment nothing mattered. I have dealt with a lot of Best Buy’s and always been pleased. This Owensboro Best Buy will never see my business again. The GM also stated they could compensate a lousy $150. That was such an insult. I would suggest new upper management and training for all employees on how to communicate properly with customers.

James the Geek Squad Manager has to the rudest, condescending manager I’ve ever met in a customer service setting. I will never buy any other thing at Best Buy in the Owensboro , KY location. I had a blue tooth headset that I bought two months ago. I did not want to return , just a credit due to manufacture defect. He wouldn’t acknowledge the problem , or even try to rectify the situation. I will be filling a formal compliment to the corporate office. I highly recommend you don’t buy anything from this store . It’s people like James that make your shopping experience a horrible one. He should truly not be in a customer service setting. I think McDonalds , or Burger King would fit him , and his condensing attitude. Best Buy you lost a customer , and the family of a customer.

They have everything you could ever want in electronics and tech. If the prices wasn't so expensive, I would buy the whole store. That's why I took a star away because. Some products are cheaper at Wal Mart or online, but they do have some 0 unique items Wal Mart doesn't carry. And never get though geek squad add on it's a rip off, the warranty with most products is better and costs you nothing to get it fixed, you might have to ship to the manufacturer to get repaired but it's cheaper then their geek squad.
