5 Best auto repair shop in Surprise, Arizona (AZ) 2024

When I showed up for my appointment Johnny was apparently unaware that I was even scheduled to come in. I waited for hours and never got an update on the status of my car. They were not busy and I spent almost 4 hours waiting for a simple coolant flush. They didn't even tell me my car was done either when it was ready. No apology for the inconvenience. Wasn't given an ETA on when it would be ready. Basically said it will be ready whenever we get to it. It was as if I didn't even make an appointment. UPDATE: Do NOT COME HERE. Pep boys said my vehicle was fine and there was no signs of overheating. My car kept overheating so I took it to Wilhelm mechanic right across the street. Wilhelm said my head gasket was blown. Pep boys on the other hand said everything was fine and did a horrible job. If your car is having any type of issues DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY. ~Michael

I am so grateful we found Thunderbird Automotive after moving to Surprise. We have three vehicles we take to this shop and have had an excellent experience with every service for the last 4 years. My most recent experience was when I took my 16 year old daughter’s car in for maintenance. Both Keith and Brandon addressed my daughter directly, explaining in detail what her car needed and why. They took the time to teach her the importance of maintenance and made sure she understood the difference between each service as what was needed and what was recommended. I appreciated that they treated her as the car owner and provided details to help her understand her diagnostics. This will be the only place we bring any of our vehicles for years to come. ~Joanie

Awesome place to have repairs or upgrades made. Daniel knows his stuff and loves what he does. A busy shop is always a good sign. He was able to get my truck with major repairs done in a few days and always kept me updated on the process. They just earned a customer for life. Highly recommend!! ~E

id love to give five stars pizza is always amazing and arizona tea dispenser is almost always functional but if you need quick access to bathrooms this chevron has fallen to the dreaded locked door curse and i recommend looking for a qt or a bigger circle k for convenience ~keith

Has been $2000 getting my car fixed Is on my control alarms in AC They say my rock opinion was messed up soemone calls me to come get my car say ots good i get home they call me saying i wss not Supposed to get it they have too many chefs in the kitchen Then call me back when I take it back and say it's something else that's messed up and my Warranty does not cover it But it didn't seem on the inspection when they 1st checked all the stuff that was wrong with you,, Places like this always scamming people out of their money got to do better do not go here ~Gnr
