Best beauty supply store in Chula Vista, California (CA) 2024

Both my husband and I have shopped here for over 5 years, and we use the pharmacy regularly. When we walk in the door, Rite Aid personnel cheerfully greet us with us with a smile. We do notice the supply chain has thinned out the shelves, but I don't think Rite Aid can help that. The pharmacy has FABULOUS personnel who are professional, very hard-working, friendly, and efficient. (Emil is outstanding). Actually it seems they're understaffed and they are running their feet off, sometimes only one single person there at a time answering phone calls, covering both the intake and outgoing windows plus filling the prescriptions all simultaneously which seems too much for one person. I believe this partly has to do with the newer added responsibility of the pharmacists, giving various vaccines that takes them away from the pharmacy, leaving a single person in the pharmacy. They should increase their pharmacy staffing during flu vax season plus if or when Covid is on the rise! We will keep coming here because of the consistently good service even though it seems both the store and pharmacy are thinly staffed. ~Babzl

Made a Covid vaccine appointment for my child. Couldn't find the kiosk to sign in but I saw a "Vaccine Check-In" sign (which needs to be removed because it is NOT the vaccine check-in) at one of the pharmacy windows. I went up to the pharmacist to ask him if that was where I had to sign in but he immediately interrupted me and told me he'd be with me in a minute. I understood, he was busy finishing a task so I didn't want to be rude and I waited. After about 10 minutes of waiting while he typed away, he left the window. I saw someone working at the Minute Clinic next to the pharmacy so I went to ask her if that was where we sign in to get the vaccine. She confirmed my question, so I went back to wait for the pharmacist to come back. After another 5 minutes, he was finally available to help. When I told him my child had an appointment for a Covid vaccine, he said "Oh that's next door at the Minute Clinic." By the time the check-in kiosk location was finally pointed out to me, my appointment had expired and there were no more available appointments for today. Thankfully, the receptionist at the Minute Clinic was able to talk to the doctor on staff and my child was able to get his vaccine administered. I work in customer service and would not have made someone wait so long to answer a question and be so rude about it. I've been busy with tasks at work but always let the customer know that if they have any quick questions or need any immediate assistance, I can help. If I couldn't help them, I'd get someone who could and let them know I'd be with them shortly. This pharmacy really needs to train their employees on customer service. ~Claudia

I LOVE Bath and Body works, I stop in anytime I see one and smell all their new stuff so I can pick what I'm going home with. I always spend money there and I always spend a bunch of time there as a result. Each time I went to this location (twice), I was followed like a hawk. I took their bag as offered, I turned down their assistance because I know what I want when I find it and yet I was still followed around despite all the other customers in the store. The first time I was frustrated but bought something regardless chalking it up to perhaps a new employee. Fast forward to my second visit (maybe 2-3 months later) and it was the SAME THING. It was so insulting I asked the young lady if I had done something wrong and she said no and continued to follow me. I handed her my bag of items and told her I didn't appreciate her following me so much and left. It was embarrassing! I will never go back to that location ~Jacqueline
