6 Best tire shop in El Centro, California (CA) 2024

We visited this place 2x to pick up a U-Haul it was the worst experience with a company hosting U-Haul I have ever had. They were rude and uneducated on their system. When the manager couldn't answer my questions he instructed me to call U-Haul and then concurrently instructed his tire guy to turn on the tire machine making it impossible to hear the U-Haul representing on the phone. The truck was disgusting and I hope U-Haul sees the manner in which they conduct business and maybe choose to move. ~Victoria

I am giving this place 5 plus stars. I was driving from San Diego moving to AZ and got flat about 6:45pm they made sure they stayed open to help me. They are the most welcoming and caring family! I will be back just to have them service my tires next time I’m passing through. God Bless them & their business! ~Ashley

Broke down in El Centro and Ralph took care of me. Great shop, highly recommended. I called many other shops in the area but most of them said they were backed up until the late fall/early winter or even next year, but this shop keeps cranking them out. They’re busy but one of the few shops equipped in the area to professionally take care of you within a reasonable time-frame. Great prices. ~Jacques

Vally Tire Fair prices. Bad quality. I went in for shimmy/shake and uneven tire wear. The owner helped me, and he seemed very knowledgeable because he located the problems right away without putting the car up. He said, “It needs a camber kit, an alignment and all new tires. He scribbled down estimate for just under $550, but did not give it to me. I agreed to it and he told me if I want to drop the car off so I can ride my bike to work, I need to be there 7:30 am sharp. I was, but didn’t let in until 7:50am. I was late to work. As the day went on they never called me to let me know the car was ready. I tried calling 3 different times with no answer. Finally I left work early to get there right before they close. Upon arrival, they said the car was done. I paid them $600 and they watched me drive off with a strange look on their face. I figured because the warning ⚠️ light was on my dash. I didn’t want to address this with them hoping it would go off. And it did :) The car was driving a lot better, but still had a small shimmy. I hoped it would go away like the ⚠️ light. It did not. It got worse. So I went through the same drop off/ pickup ritual. They said they balanced the tires and it is good. It was not. I went a third time about an hour before closing only expecting to make another appointment. Instead they jacked it up right away and pulled the wheels and proceeded to balance them. During this procedure, they had me come look at the balancing machine to show me that all the tires are in balance. What they figured at this time was the rims are bent and that is causing the shimmy. Now they recommend replacing all the rims $$$$ At this point I lost faith in them. They should’ve seen this in the beginning. I would’ve got rims and tires that cost a lot less. I am totally frustrated at their lack of attention. ~Joel

Went for tire balance, rotate and to install and activate TPMS. Also request specific tire pressure due to a significant amount of desert highway driving in very high temps. The manager was friendly and responsive. He noted all my requests and I received a text when work was supposedly complete. Picked up the vehicle and found the TPMS had not been activated and all four tires were at significantly different pressures. It was obvious tire pressures were never checked or adjusted at all. I judge work like this by thoroughness and would expect the workers to follow a checklist to ensure everything is done correctly, as a matter of safety. Makes me wonder if anything else was missed, like correct torque on lug nuts. Unfortunately I purchased a service plan, that I now don’t feel good about. ~Yep

These people were exceptionally awesome and amazing. We are from Arizona and blew out tires on our JetSki trailer. I would recommend them to anybody quick and fast service. They flagged us down from the street and knew we were coming. ~Miguel
