Best grocery store in Glendale, California (CA) 2024

The store is a 5 but the parking lot is a 3, at best. They had what I wanted, the tofu and the simple peanut butter. At least at 11:30 on a Friday morning not too crowded. ~Charles

Still a great mix of wholesale and individual purchase items. The sales on the "big box" items are great, but you need to get in early to take advantage on holiday weekends. The staff at this location were very polite and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we got what we needed. ~Anthony

Several times they don't even have people at the checkout. Everyone is forced to do self-checkout. They need to do a way better job of staffing. 06/06/22 Going to add on since they won't let me review again. Around 11:45 when they close at 1am they don't even have someone scheduled to check people out because "it's late". Sure it's late but you're still open right? Do you expect the Uber guy to make you drive yourself because "it's late"? Another example of trying to normalize cutting people out of their jobs instead of prioritizing customer service. What Kroger is saying is people who shop "late" do not deserve the same experience as people who shop during "normal hours" Go to 221 N Glendale instead, they have people that will help you. ~Mike
