I very highly recommend shopping at this entire chain of stores because they sell very high quality items and because the staff is really friendly and attentive. For example the chicken salad and the breaded chicken they sell at the hot foods counter are to die for! A long tine ago my mom bought a Jalapeno flavored croissant that was also to die for! We also loved the fact that they sell everything at very reasonable prices. I sincerely hope that this chain of stores remains in business forever so that all future generations can enjoy shopping here just as we have for so many years.

Today's service was terrible. Usually the cashiers at this Ralph's in Glendale are friendly and courteous. But today the cashier displayed very bad customer service. He was very RUDE and LAZY. If he doesn't like his job then he shouldn't be in customer service. The hiring manager should be more vigilant when screening for potential employees. It reflects badly on this establishment to have people like this representing their store.

Sep 7th, 2022 They were really busy at around noon and only one open register. I don’t mind using self serve but needed to return an item and you may not do that at self serve. The manager was around and refused to open another lane. When I finally got to a cashier it appeared that they needed the credit card I used, and I left it in the car. So I had too go back and bring it. LOST almost half an hour to get a refund for something which cost $8. A question, how come other Ralph’s stores never asked a credit card (at least the Sherman Oaks and Santa Monica)

Has a larger selection and more variety of packaged goods than a lot of other LA Ralphs. Spacious outdoor parking lot out front, and a decent surrounding hood.

This is a TOP NOTCH RATING for Maurice De Leon who works in the meat department. Not only is he very knowledgeable of the products in the meat department...he is probably the most friendly grocery store employee I have ever met! He treats customers like people and with a smile. You can tell he loves working for Ralph's. Thank you Ralph's for having Maurice there to serve us. He is the best of the best! 😊😉

It’s 4th of July as I’m writing this and I just left this location after picking up firewood and wood chips for the grill with my boyfriend. I never write reviews based on race but i would like to start with the fact that I am black and my boyfriend is white. He was wearing an American flag shirt and I was off purchasing cigarettes when this instance occurred. The employee was a young hispanic female, and was harassing my boyfriend about the firewood. Apparently you cannot purchase firewood at the self checkout which neither of us knew. We both are aware that cigarettes and alcohol must be purchased at the checkout with cashiers, but due to his attire she began harassing him about making his purchase at self checkout and accused him of stealing to her coworker (which I overheard when she redirected him to the non self check out line). She stated “these people just try to walk out of the store without paying”. I am very upset with this entire situation and 100% believe that if I was standing next to him as he was buying the firewood this harassment would not have occurred. Wearing holiday clothing is not a beacon for judgment and the employees should be trained to not discriminate based on her own bias. In California employers are not to discriminate based on age, race or religion, so you should train your employees to do so as well.

Several times they don't even have people at the checkout. Everyone is forced to do self-checkout. They need to do a way better job of staffing. 06/06/22 Going to add on since they won't let me review again. Around 11:45 when they close at 1am they don't even have someone scheduled to check people out because "it's late". Sure it's late but you're still open right? Do you expect the Uber guy to make you drive yourself because "it's late"? Another example of trying to normalize cutting people out of their jobs instead of prioritizing customer service. What Kroger is saying is people who shop "late" do not deserve the same experience as people who shop during "normal hours" Go to 221 N Glendale instead, they have people that will help you.

Good selection of groceries. Huge parking lot. More parking around back. They also have self check out which is what I always prefer at all stores nowadays. Was very busy Sunday afternoon but I was in and out in less than 15 mins. Store was very clean and plenty of workers on the floor.

Good location. Friendly, helpful employees. I've found that a lot of products are out of stock recently but I believe that may be due to ships not docking or delivering products. Aside from that I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a grocery store in the area.

I'll echo the concerns of other customers. The lines go to the back of the store, boxes are layed out across the floor, presumably prepped for stocking but that's something you do before the store opens? Funny, I know someone who applied here recently and got denied. Why deny a potential employee when your store is in disarray morning and evening? Guess these people aren't serious about running a decent store. Honestly don't know what happened, used to be the best Ralphs in Glendale but it's now a distant third compared to the other 2. Save yourself the headache of a ridiculously long line (took me 25 minutes to check out at the SELF CHECKOUT). It's unfortunate because the clerks are nice and decent.
