Best grocery store in San Leandro, California (CA) 2024

This is the inflation deflation station. For the most part, even as prices go up everywhere else, Grocery Outlet remains the same for most items. And they were already at bargain prices before the sharp increase in inflation. In fact, they're now cheaper than Dollar Tree for the same or similar items (as many items are still at 99 cents). Just check the expiration dates. Usually, if you don't wait several months to consume the food, you'll be just fine. Can goods are usually close to those found elsewhere. Dry breakfast foods are the ones to look out for the most. Now, selection does vary from time to time, and some foods they don't carry. With that said, you can find some amazing deals here. Especially when you shop in tandem with other stores to make ends meet. They truly remain, THE bargain market! ~John

Before leaving the counter I checked my items. Two items were damaged. And leaking. Team appeared lazy and uncooperative. Instead of simply replacing the 2 damaged items, the guy gave me a refund and tried to tell me that I needed to go get the items off the shelf and stand in line AGAIN. REALLY??? I asked him if someone was going to be going to get the items off the shelf to replace the damaged items and he acted as though he had no intention of going to get the replacement items. I told him that it wasn't my fault the items were damaged and someone needs to get the replacements off the shelf. I didn't place the order on line to stand in line twice for an issue that wasn't my fault. HORRIBLE customer service. Lazy, unfriendly staff. Never coming back. ~Mob

From the outside looks like one of those old museums” was opened in 1947”, (when you get in it is old lol but cool). It has the typical first come first served, self seating. Their menu change regularly, I went there last week and the have BBQ Brisket, ham, Roasted Beef and Turkey leg( massive ). Good value for money, prices are from 8 up to mmm I paid 22 for my dish because I added extra extra meat 🍖! BTW “JUST CASH”. Stuff was really friendly, I reckon they have been working there for many years !!!! ~Alexander
