5 Best candy store in Wilmington, Delaware (DE) 2024

This Wawa is a 24 hour, all-day, everyday convenience store in Wilmington, DE on Linden Hill Road. If you don’t know it’s there you won’t find it. It’s one of Wawa’s small stores with less offerings than their fully equipped gas station stores. No restroom. They offer freshly brewed coffee, freshly made salads, sandwiches and beverages. (If they don’t sell gas, there’s usually no restroom. They sell cigarettes and some vapes. This is a back up Wawa for me. It’s very small and run down. Even though it’s not dirty, it looks like it. ~Jay

It was late in the evening when we went there and there were two employees who were very nice and helpful. we only spoke to the girl but I could tell that the guy that was working there was a decent guy. This location seems to be a smaller location than other stores that I've been in so they have a lot of stuff crammed into it. I only gave it four stars because Dollar general tends to round up the prices (like to the next dollar) on things so their prices are a bit higher than they should be. I don't do a whole lot of shopping at Dollar general if I can help it but sometimes it's convenient to shop there for a couple few things here and there. They do carry mouse traps and are reasonably priced. It's a good store. ~Lee

Ugh!!!! Ordered a shorti 6 ", gave me less than 1/2 of a classic, 10". Cashier was huffing, puffing, yawning...I said ooo, I have a rewards card. Couldnt remember pw, looked all over my phone. Said, Can I put this in at home w/receipt. She said yes. Didn't put receipt in bag!!!! Finally changed my pw 1/2 home( I was a passenger) Darn if I didnt have a FREE shorti or coffee in my rewards. Both of which I purchased!!! There was no one behind me in line she could have waited!!! 5" roll was 1/2 empty. They could have put that 3rd meatball in as usuall if right roll !!! Hubby wanted to drive down 202 to the Silverside Rd Wawa. I asked why, he said, you'll see!!! Ugh ~carol

When we walked into the store a young lady welcomed us the the store. The store was clean, you can see what candy's they have. Some 5 below their candy's Crowded. But this store u can see cleaner. They had great summer items. They also have self checkouts. ~camille

Normally this Wawa is nice and very convenient for me because it is so close to my house, but recently I am fed up with the level of quality I have been receiving. Tonight I received a quesadilla with wax paper cooked into it, which is a serious choking hazard, and I could’ve died!!! (I have serious trauma regarding a family member that choked to death) I should’ve got a full refund that was the worst wawa experience of my life‘s entirety. I did not get the names of the men that cooked the paper into my quesadilla, but it was order number 272 placed at about 7 PM on October 26, 2022. I would also like to mention that the wait time was about 25 minutes, and there were only three people working on staff. This experience was just extremely disappointing and I don’t see myself ever going back to this Wawa. ~Lia
