Simply, Baer's variety and reputation drew us in for a close look. Everything we hoped for was found on Clark Rd in Sarasota. Advised by a trusted pro in the field, we sought Frank as our Sales Guide. Great move. Friendly, accommodating, informative and supportive, Frank helped us complete the process, happy with all of our decisions. Delivery followed four days later and was every bit consistent with the store experience. We are impressed. There's no question that we have found our "go to" store and professional for furnishings and accessories to add the finishing touches. ~John

I have been trying to leave a review of a piece of furniture we bought at Crate and Barrel. The store has requested editing of the review 3 times already. I guess you are only allowed to say that their product was great, otherwise they just keep rejecting it. Here is my original review of the Ventana Wide Metal Display Storage Cabinet. Beautiful but with problems We bought this piece at the end of August and were surprised to see it was available for delivery in September. It was delivered but was damaged. The top metal part was bent and the middle shelf, which is aligned to the knobs, was chipped and dented from the screw on the back of the knob. We refused the piece and a replacement was sent in October. C&B staff were excellent in helping us navigate the return and the new delivery date. Once again, there was damage to the shelf that aligned with the knobs. Since it appears this might be an ongoing problem, we decided to accept the piece and will paint the shelf and add protectors to the screw behind the knob. We have also noticed a very strong chemical odor from it when we open the doors. This is a beautiful and striking piece of furniture we love having in our home. But, given the cost of this item, one would not expect to have to deal with these issues. It is even worse when a week after delivery, the price has dropped by $700! ~Ivan
