6 Best home goods store in Sarasota, Florida (FL) 2024

This place is great. I buy my straw and rabbit/Guinea pig food here. Very inexpensive. A friend says the clothing is overpriced. My biggest complaint is that the women who work at counter are somewhat rude. It’s very off putting. Every time I come in, they are rude so it’s not a one time thing. Being as everything is online now, it’s nice to deal w/an actual person once in awhile, not these ladies though. They both act like having to wait on you is a huge inconvenience to their day. ~Jennifer

Z-G has a great selection for the home especially their accent pieces. Always up to date with the latest decorating trends. The staff are knowledgeable, educated in the products, helpful and polite. When you go in the store have fun and find something beautiful to improve the decorative look of your home. ~Edward

I went in to return a comforter. I went to the returns area because in department stores, typically thats the only place to return an item. The cashier was very upset to see me and said "You cut the line!" So I told her I assumed you could only make returns at the returns area...like every other store in Sarasota. She said "You can return it anywhere". I told her I clearly wasn't aware since that's unusual and apologized, but she had a horrible attitude the rest of the time. I was told I couldn't return my comforter because it was As Is. As in..missing items. Nothing on their store site told me that was policy...so I wasted gas money going to the store for no reason. I will never shop here again. Rude staff and a company who can't even run a website properly. ~Miranda

I have been trying to leave a review of a piece of furniture we bought at Crate and Barrel. The store has requested editing of the review 3 times already. I guess you are only allowed to say that their product was great, otherwise they just keep rejecting it. Here is my original review of the Ventana Wide Metal Display Storage Cabinet. Beautiful but with problems We bought this piece at the end of August and were surprised to see it was available for delivery in September. It was delivered but was damaged. The top metal part was bent and the middle shelf, which is aligned to the knobs, was chipped and dented from the screw on the back of the knob. We refused the piece and a replacement was sent in October. C&B staff were excellent in helping us navigate the return and the new delivery date. Once again, there was damage to the shelf that aligned with the knobs. Since it appears this might be an ongoing problem, we decided to accept the piece and will paint the shelf and add protectors to the screw behind the knob. We have also noticed a very strong chemical odor from it when we open the doors. This is a beautiful and striking piece of furniture we love having in our home. But, given the cost of this item, one would not expect to have to deal with these issues. It is even worse when a week after delivery, the price has dropped by $700! ~Ivan
