For those who don’t like to read: it’s overpriced furniture with awful customer service. The furniture itself isn’t too bad. It’s probably about 2x the quality you would find elsewhere but it’s about 4x the price. That said, one of our couch pillows has already ripped after about 2 weeks, so maybe the quality isn’t as good as we originally thought. The sales team was not great. We had 2 sales people argue over who would get our business, and one even asked us to get in the middle of it. The salesperson we ended up dealing with seemed helpful at first, and was definitely knowledgeable about the product. He added all of our stuff up on separate invoices but assured us everything was there. About 30 minutes after we left the store, he missed a large piece of furniture, and we actually needed to pay thousands of dollars more than we were quoted. I wish that had been enough of a red flag to cancel the order. Delivery team was great, but they were missing a cord for one of the pieces. He dialed up the customer service and they told me that they would be in touch the next morning. After 3 days of no contact I called my sales rep, he said he would take care of it. 3 days after that I had to follow up AGAIN and he told me that I would just need to call customer service. They STILL never responded so I called him again and finally someone texted me about it. I answered their questions and never heard back. We are now 12 days post delivery and I not only have no cord, but no answer on when/ if I will ever get the cord. For as much as they charge, there is a lot left to be desired. Steer clear.

After weighing all things, style, quality, presentation and flexibility of the furniture itself, we sought the local options offering the best fit. Simply, Baer's variety and reputation drew us in for a close look. Everything we hoped for was found on Clark Rd in Sarasota. Advised by a trusted pro in the field, we sought Frank as our Sales Guide. Great move. Friendly, accommodating, informative and supportive, Frank helped us complete the process, happy with all of our decisions. Delivery followed four days later and was every bit consistent with the store experience. We are impressed. There's no question that we have found our "go to" store and professional for furnishings and accessories to add the finishing touches.

Rick Storey is a very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and patient salesperson. He spent a lot of time with me to make sure my needs were met and my questions were answered. He also responded promptly to my questions via texts while my furniture was being delivered. The delivery men were on time and efficient. I’m a repeat customer to Baers Furniture and will definitely return.

My designer, Sara was cheerful and welcoming but most importantly, knowledgeable. She and Carol worked together to make certain I received my delivery three days earlier - in time for my husband's birthday. The delivery men were friendly and efficient. I'm sorry I didn't get their names. We will be back for more!

The staff was knowledgeable and easy to work with. High quality furniture with financing plans available to make the buy easier. The delivery team showed up, were courteous, and efficient. Overall a very smooth and enjoyable process.

We were given a time window of 11am-2pm And then received a phone call at 10am (automated message) saying our delivery was arriving in 10min. We were out and had to run back as not to miss the delivery. Once we were able to catch the truck the guys unloaded the furniture only to find that are pillows that were in a box all fell out and were soiled with dirt from the truck. My husband and I had to clean the pillows. We also had to ask the delivery guys to set up the furniture. Given the amount of money we paid and the expectation of a quality furniture store as Baer, we were very disappointed. We are new to the area and appreciate any consideration that can be provided to address the poor customer service. No one expects to buy new furniture and it arrives soiled with dirt. Unbelievable and unacceptable

The delivery team called in advance as a courtesy to let me know they could come earlier than scheduled which was very helpful. They were also very conscientious and careful moving the items into our condo. The sales team was helpful at the store which has a huge selection!!!

Danny from Sales was great. He understood what we needed. After we placed the order, he kept us posted on the status. The Delivery team was also excellent. The app is easy to use and the drivers kept in touch the entire time.

Our Salesperson, Laura is always very helpful. The delivery men were great. We had a minor issue that they explained and corrected. They had to drill a few holes and did it very neatly, they put a tarp down and cleaned up.

Loran was fantastic. No pressure sales. The furniture we bought is solid, sturdy & high quality. We looked at other furniture stores but none had the price and high quality that Baer's has.
