My wife tried to put the last $4.00 we had with us at the time in the car, but after paying and "pumping" the gas, our cruising range meter didn't change at all. It read 83 miles when we pulled in, that's why we got gas in the first place. After we pulled out of the gas station, it still read 83 miles. We returned to the store and my wife explained what happened to the clerk. He said his pumps work fine, if my gas gauge didn't move it was because it was only $4. I tried to explain that I wasn't looking at the gauge, but a meter that tells how many miles I can drive with the gas currently in the tank. He didn't want to hear it. I was wrong and my gas gauge is broken. So, the gist of this is that this store and its employees are more than willing to refuse to listen to reason. Basically, he ripped me off for 4 bucks and refused to do anything about it. You've been warned. Anyone else who patronizes this store is at risk of being taken. They will if they can. She asked for the owner's phone number and his name. He refused both and said he was the owner. All this over 4 damn dollars? This is more than ridiculous... ~lucky

Little hidden gem in Venice; located in the back of the Latin Market. Everytime I go, I am impressed... the food is delicious. Their tacos, all kinds, pastor, carne asada, chicken, pork... their soup, the rice and beans.... and their service. In thr Dunkin Donuts plaza off 42, across the street from TJ Maxx, GO!!!!! ~Shakti

I bought a dining set, entry table, Console Table, coffee table and leather reclining sofa in May. It took a while to receive my furniture due to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. The staff at the Furniture Warehouse were understanding, and patient with my inquiries. The delivery personnel were extremely polite, efficient and respectful of my home and property. oh my gosh, I love this place. Best deals for Venice beach wear and the best flip flops. Okabashi they are made here in the US, Georgia actually. I needed new flip flops and the owner great gal recommended Okabashi, super comfortable with arch support. I wore them on a three mile beach trek never got any blisters and they are so comfortable, I went back for another pair today! Great off the beaten track, shop with anything you need to beach out in Venice. Must see! Owner is wonderful and so helpful. ~Tere

If you want to get scammed this is the place to come to. I brought a $2,000 chain/pendant. They told me the chain was fake, and tried offering $200 for a solid gold 14k pendant with diamonds. This place is so desperate to score they will literally rob you of your jewelry. I brought it over to a real jewelry store and they told me the pendant alone is worth $1500! Don’t buy or sell here, I’ve warned ya. Reply to owner: actually this is the right place. The person who attended me was a young black woman that had her child there with her. The jeweler I purchased this piece from told me of this typical scam pawn shops usually pull, and told me to take it to a real jeweler. And that’s exactly what I did! Deny it if you want, but I have proof I was there. ~Abdiel

Not once I had the worst purchasing experience in the Artisans store in Venice when I was buying the Pandora charms for my bracelet. The saleswoman was unfriendly and cold with me. She never even said “hello” to me, ignoring me completely. Never reassembled the bracelet just like they usually do at Pandora store. Never mentioned that it was the final sale without a return or even exchange. I asked only to exchange one charm for $25 for the same price. She refused. I left the charm for her or the manager in the store shocked by this attitude and service so unusual in America. I come from Europe where the return policy is very limited, and I always praised the best shopping experience in the US. Not in the place like Artisans Venice with their unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. ~Ludmila

I like the furniture I bought. But I ordered a couch on December 28... I was told 6-8 weeks for it to be ready, it has now been 12 weeks and still no couch. I also ordered a kitchen table in January. I was told it would be here in February, then March. It did not come in March as promised. Nice store, but bad ordering. Don't but anything on order unless you're willing to wait forever! ~Jai's

I went to a different nail salon when I first moved here that was okay. I had a broken nail one day and my original salon could not get me in, so I called Star Nails. They were so pleasant to talk to on the phone and were able to get me in with Ha. She did a fantastic job. She gave me a whole new set, which was much better than my original, and I’ve been going to her ever since! Today, I said give me something fun for Christmas and thats what I got! I had two repair services performed by Master Mechanics: Total Shock Replacement/Oil + Filter Change. Two Days later they replaced my tailgate latches. I would definitely recommend Master Mechanics.
