Best drugstore in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (IA) 2024

I prefer to check out with an actual human, but was told that the manager recently mandated that when it is slow, that the cashiers have people use the self checkout instead. I don’t see a point of having an employee work if that is the case. Definitely going to make sure next time (now that I know) that if I am directed to use self-checkout, I won’t be making a purchase at all. If CVS HQ are trying to save $, they had best not to employ any cashiers at all. ~Braden

Horrible pharmacy. I called on the phone to make sure my insurance would work two hours beforehand. I arrived and they told me they didn't accept it, giving me the phone number to insurance. Theyre too incompetent to give me a working phone number. Then claimed they were too busy to give paperwork that they had preprinted stacks of. There was one other customer and at least four people behind the counter. ~Jennifer

I just personally want to say as a google guide, that i HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLYYYYY RECOMMEND this specific pharmacy. Mike, a pharmacist, and his interns or tge people under him(Adam, and Emma in specific) all 3 will take EXTREMELY GOOD CARE OF YOU. All 3 go above and beyond to make sure youre happy! If i could give this pharmacy a 10 star rating i would! Ask for either of tgem and they will most defiantly make you confident youre in good hands! This store had a very nice selection of quite reasonably priced items, especially off brands of things such as hand soap and magic erasers. The checkout times were long though. Plan to spend some time if you are not familiar with tbe store layout and at peak times. ~Brian
