Best cosmetics store in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (IA) 2024

I love ordering hand soap and my body wash. I however am not happy on the fact they do not pack their boxes and just threw the products in the box. Plus the fact my boxes were opened when delivered to me. I was missing some products along with some still in package and half empty. I was happy customer service made it wright with me. I just hope it is not a trend. ~tammie

I bleached my own hair multiple times and it was falling apart. Length was between 2-10 inches, all due to breakage. It was multiple shades of blonde/yellow due to banding and had dark brown root growth. Shay at ULTA beauty got me in the same day and spent hours fixing my hair instead of going home to her family. She’s did a fabulous job and I am so glad someone suggested I call her. Thank you all and thanks to my new fave hair dresser!! ~Veronica

I prefer to check out with an actual human, but was told that the manager recently mandated that when it is slow, that the cashiers have people use the self checkout instead. I don’t see a point of having an employee work if that is the case. Definitely going to make sure next time (now that I know) that if I am directed to use self-checkout, I won’t be making a purchase at all. If CVS HQ are trying to save $, they had best not to employ any cashiers at all. ~Braden

Horrible pharmacy. I called on the phone to make sure my insurance would work two hours beforehand. I arrived and they told me they didn't accept it, giving me the phone number to insurance. Theyre too incompetent to give me a working phone number. Then claimed they were too busy to give paperwork that they had preprinted stacks of. There was one other customer and at least four people behind the counter. ~Jennifer
