12 Best grocery store in Wichita, Kansas (KS) 2024

I will give it to the people who work here. This store is always immaculate, in order, & well stocked. The staff is nice, friendly, & keep their store looking lovely. The sushi here is 100% amazing for a grocery store. The guy who makes it actually used to make sushi at a nice restaurant on the west side. I loved going there until it closed. I was shocked when I found out he makes the sushi at this Dillons, but also super happy! The man has skills! I absolutely recommend shopping at this store. It can get a little crowded due to location, but that is really one of their only issues. The check out lines up front can get congested when they are busy. ~Phat

Stopped here on the way home from Belle Plaine. Had a large order..4 children, 3 adults. We went inside to order as we figured it would be easier. The order did not take long. They were very quick and it was completely accurate...no mistakes... ~Kathrina

My first ever job, when I was 16, was at a DQ, which is pretty close to Braum's, operationally. I'm telling you this so you understand that I probably have higher expectations than some. The overall impression was "ugh." The tables were dirty, the floor was sticky, the ice cream prep area was filthy like nobody clans up as they go, and service was really slow. It's a hard time to find staff, but there were at least 4 people behind the counter, another at the drive-through, 2 in the kitchen and one restocking ice cream and toppings. There were only about 10 customers inside so there was plenty of coverage to clean and serve. ~Sarah

Friendly staff and good quality products that are easy to find and often well stocked. I like this particular location since it’s a Marketplace, meaning there are good quality clothes, shoes, and even home goods and decor. I highly recommend checking it out! ~Sheena

I don’t care for this particular location. Items are hard to find and the area feels a little unsafe. My biggest issue is the parking lot. It’s weirdly chaotic and the two times I’ve been to this location some random person approached me in the parking lot asking for money. That really made me uncomfortable. ~Sheena

We had a great time. The workers there were more than nice and helped us with everything we needed. Walmart is not the place we like to go but for once we had a very pleasant time and enjoyed the time we spent. Thanks for making it worth while ~Georgianna

Feel like home. 👍 FYI, no hard liquor or wines here at this Trader Joe's. Beers are sold here though.. Must be Kansas state law or Wichita city law prohibiting wine and liquor sales at grocery store. ~SW

It was a good visit. Glad that I could easily find staff to help when I needed help. However, this store could do better in the selection of hair products especially for black people hair. There was very limited selection. ~Portia

Best sea food selection around! I had an Amazon return to do while I was getting groceries and the lady went above and beyond to help me solve an issue withAmazon! I was also very impressed with the selection of plants. Great location to go down every isle ~Debbie
