Best womens clothing store in Silver Spring, Maryland (MD) 2024

I don't like to make bad reviews but I had to do this one. Today I went to Ross in downtown Silver Spring Cityplace. I was looking for a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and I was looking around the counter. I finally decided to ask for help so I can try them. There is a device on the counter that says press for assistance I pressed it. And I waited at least 25 minutes nobody came to help me. The cashiers wouldn't even look at me , they just talk among each other. I'll even ask one of the guys from Loss and prevention for help He say he cannot do anything. I said can you call a manager he said the manager is going to tell you to go and make a line. I just want to see the sunglasses so I can try them. I was completely ignore it feels so rude to be ignore. After 35 minutes of being in the store I gave up and decided to leave. While being there I notice that the cashiers will talk very rude to the customers especially if you are LATINO. I will not come back to this Ross. You can no longer try on clothes here. You must buy and pray it works, and if it doesn’t work you will have to exchange it. There are no longer ANY COVID restrictions in the area, so this feels egregious. I think they are just trying to take advantage of their customers and at this point it’s just totally not worth it. Might as well buy elsewhere online as the only reason to shop in store is having the benefit of trying on your clothes. At least online you can read a review. They use random vendors like everybody, so sizes will have inconsistencies. Used to love this place for last minute vacation fits, but never again. ~Eleanor
