Best clothing store in Lee's Summit, Missouri (MO) 2024

went in to buy black pants, no greetings, dirty merchandise. did ask a young lady if another pair in particular size was available since the floor sample was dirty, dirt was streaked on both legs of pants, she answered all the stock was on floor, she offered to see if merchandise on floor can be discounted, a male team member responded very aggressively, made me feel very unwelcomed. young lady approached me asking if i still wanted the black pants, I told her quietly that i don't think her team member wanted me to shop in this store, and left. very disappointed, i went to replace an old pair of pants that i had bought from H&M couple years back. This experience is making me look for merchandise at a different company. ~asma

Asked where stuff was.. and employees were super helpful.. anyone else shopping was polite and curious.. I was able to get in and out quickly.. I spent way to much money.. but that's besides the point.. I need blinders on next time. 🤣 ~Samantha

Plato’s Closet in Lee’s Summit is a fun and budget friendly must shop location. I have been shopping here since I was in my early 20’s. I am now in my 40’s and have a new appreciation for this store now that my teenagers can shop with me and stretch their clothing budgets too. We usually find exactly what we are looking for or better for a fraction of what we would pay new. They have a huge variety for guys and ladies. Note: This is a consignment resale store. They do buy your gently used name brand items and then resale them. ~Amber
