Plato’s Closet in Lee’s Summit is a fun and budget friendly must shop location. I have been shopping here since I was in my early 20’s. I am now in my 40’s and have a new appreciation for this store now that my teenagers can shop with me and stretch their clothing budgets too. We usually find exactly what we are looking for or better for a fraction of what we would pay new. They have a huge variety for guys and ladies. Note: This is a consignment resale store. They do buy your gently used name brand items and then resale them.

Good quality clothes. Name brands. Bit on the higher priced side but for the quality , I feel its mostly fair. Clean store , spacious isles. Line for changing rooms were long however, they had changing rooms. Multiple in fact.

Their store hours aren't the same as shown online. Drove an hour to shop there only to find that they were already closed. We weren't the only ones. We could see employees inside, but the phone went to full voicemail. Clearly, they don't care. How hard is it to update the hours online?

We love Plato's Closet. We get all my kids' clothes here for the fraction of the price of retail, and my daughter especially loves to browse the racks and picking out multiple pieces!

Absolutely hands down the best place to sell clothes! Great staff and fast buying process. Leave with less stuff and extra play money! I sell often and can’t remember a time I didn’t leave happy. Thanks Plato’s staff! 👍

Been going to this place for many years now. The last 3 visits have been atrocious. The workers are snotty & think their store is too good for great clothing items. They are very cheap & waste your time! Try the Plato’s in Overland Park, it’s a lot nicer of and experience & nicer people overall! Plato’s Lee’s Summit keeps going down hill by the day!

Tell me how it makes sense that I was offered only $5 for 1 Puma hoodie, 1 Nike Hoodie, 2 H&M dresses, and a pair of Nike shoes. All of these items are in great condition, and the dresses had never even been worn. A singular dollar for each item IS NOT 30% of the retail value. Staff was INCREDIBLY rude and acted as if I was asking for $100 out of them. I expected at minimum $30, but FIVE dollars for name brand, good condition, and trendy clothes is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. This store is an absolute joke.

I dropped off a bag of very gently used name brand clothing. They literally went through the bag for five minutes and sent me a message saying that they had gone through the clothes. They did not buy anything I don’t recommend wasting your time taking anything to these people.

Just wanted to share my experience with this place and its great the staff is really friendly and the owner is a really hard worker every time i come and shop there she's working and helping her workers which is awsome. Prices a very reasonable compared to other plato's closets i've visted and shopped such as the one in overland park,the columbia one, the plato's closet in springfield and the plato's closet in kansas city mo. so i really am thankful to go shopping at a clothing store where prices are very well affordable. I encourage people to come at that store and give them a try. this store def dont deserve a 3.5 star rating to me its a 5 star all day long.

This store is a great place to make some cash on clothes that you’re ready to pass along. Staff was friendly and made the process easy. Money they paid me was fair. Nice to have a place to sell my used clothing. Shopped while I waited and found some deals on name brands. Would def recommend and will return.
