5 Best craft store in Omaha, Nebraska (NE) 2024

Michael’s is a nice clean store. When we went there were good sales on a few items. We found everything we needed and the team members were very helpful ~A2Z

Always an awesome experience at Blick Art Materials. I did discover that your 140 lb 11" x 15" watercolor paper tears too easy when wet for stapling to stretcher frame. I use Arches full sheets instead and they dry as tight as a drum! ~John

Sue was amazing in the fabric department! She helped me pick out vinyl for a bench I am reupholstering for a customer. I am NOT an upholsterer. LOL! My husband and I own Fat Frog Renovations and we are flipping a house for a customer. Pic attached of the before built in beauty (built like a beast, though!)... Customer wanted it redone. Sue, from Hobby Lobby, was a huge help! She talked through some technique and strategy with me. Educated me on pros and cons of my fabric options. Even went through how to layout the project on the fabric to cut down on the waste. Really helpful, kind, attentive, and genuine. Thanks, Sue! It turned out GREAT!! This store is a joke. They're never open, ever. Regardless of the hours they state they're open. Yesterday (wednesday) they were supposed to be open 11am-9pm. Came around 2pm and there was a sign saying they dont open till 4pm. Came here today (thursday) and there's a sign saying they're closed until Monday. Yet the hours on their business sign says they're closed Mondays?! Don't waste your time coming here. They're never open. May as well close this store permanently. ~Danielle

Customer service has always been friendly at this location no matter how busy they are! They started selling ice recently! However, they do seem to run out pretty quick! I always love this location compared to my local Dollar General. ~Carlos
