Walmart Neighborhood Market

Went in to pick up a few items for the weekend on Friday evening (530pm). There were employees everywhere, and almost in every aisle. Stacks of items and carts of stock would block many of the items I wanted, so I had work and reach around some of them. There were employees who were stocking, and while present of me, would step in front of me while I was making a selection. I don't understand why there were so many employees doing personal shopping and stocking all at the same time, it was unusual. Maybe a corporate visitor was coming down? Expectation of Walmart just keep getting lower and lower. ~T

Hy-Vee Grocery Store

This is one of the bigger, nicer, updated stores in town. The staff has always been nice. They have an updated self checkout area and even have the new full-sized self service checkout aisles (see photo). Good sized health food section and the store also has the attached liquor store. ~Frank

Hy-Vee Grocery Store

I agree with the previous poster - but mine is more like 80% of the time by online order is messed up. Tonight is the final straw - I ordered my groceries at 8:30 am to be picked up between 7:00-7:30 pm as that is the time I would be in town. I received a text message at 6:45 pm telling me my order way delayed by more than 45 mins. I was not planning to be in town another hour. So, here I am, already late and now I have no groceries. Completely unorganized, unprofessional. Although it’s not as bad as the time I was alerted my groceries were available to be picked up only to show up and my order was ‘missing.’ I was charged but my order was gone. I wasn’t dressed to go into the store at that point and gather the items I needed that evening. Of course there have been other minor nuisances along the way too. It’s not worth it. ~Denise

Family Fare Supermarket

The team at Family Fare take good care of me and my family. The deli selections of meats and cheeses are above average if you stick with the Kretschmar brand, but the bakery items can be hit and miss sometimes. The small refrigerator of artisan creme sodas and root beers is top notch and every now and the there are other trinkets in the store worth taking home. ~Chris

ALDI

Brand new store pretty large with lots of items. It would be your main grocery store as they don't always have everything a shopper would need. They have a small variety of things that you wouldn't see in a normal grocery store. They have great produce and a great variety of breads. ~Sally

Little Engines

They are not paying their bills or something. They had my mower for a month and never ordered the belts. An employee told me the owner is not paying bills. I never received a phone call about progress. I didn’t even get a call back after I went in and offered to pay for the belts somewhere else. No customer service. They should not be in business much longer with the way they act and treat customers. ~Kenton

HobbyTown HobbyPlex

nice place, giant, where you find everything for your hobby, planes, cars, boats, articles for modeling, rockets and it even has flight simulators so that they can practice and have fun, at the back of the place there is an impressive motor racing track, I honestly loved it the place, I hope to reactivate again in the hobby since I have little time in this country but sooner rather than later I will ~Johan
