Best oil change service in Middletown, New York (NY) 2024

Rolled in after 5pm without an appointment after getting a huge bolt in my tire. The staff was super friendly, the price tag was more than reasonable and I was out of there in under an hour. Impressive! Service: Tires ~christina

I have had multiple fantastic experiences with Monro Auto in Middletown. David Garcia is a natural when it comes managing and successfully tackling any car problems. No problems. I used a Groupon offer that saved me a few bucks. Even though I paid for the oil change through Groupon I still had to pay sales tax in person. I thought that a little weird. It was a Monday mid morning (not lunch time really) and the place was pretty busy. I guess I waited 15-20 minutes. Friendly people. Prices are a little high I think, but there are much higher. I called one place that wanted $125 for a full synthetic oil change. Really? I asked what kind of oil, thinking maybe it was something special. Mobil One maybe. Nope. That was for Castrol. I won't say which place that was. Anyway, with the Groupon which cost $56.99 plus tax ($4.53). So $61.62 total. Much better than $125! Groupon upon this writing August 2021, also offered a synthetic blend oil change for $42.99 plus tax. Regular prices are $65.99 for Synthetic blend and $85.99 for full synthetic. Sales tax again is extra. The technician was very pleasant and helpful with questions I had. This was my first time here. ~John

went to get a 3 inch section of flex pipe replaced after another shop broke it replacing a section of the exhaust, original shop could not weld to repair it.midas came with a price of $489 to do it, they explained why the plrice and how it was going to be done, they said the had to unbolt the front pipe as part of the job, i stated that that was not possible because the from pipe was part of the catalytic converter. the guy was gonna show me that i didn't know what i was talking about, so he puts the car back up and looks and says, your right. so they come qith a new price of $344. . the original price for the small peice of flex pipe was $148 but he dropped the price to $129.. when i stated that the price for the pipe was less then $20., the manager got onvolved and told me how wrong i was. i get that there is a merkup on parts, but 700%?. i left and went to meineke in middletown, $244 and done ~michael
