7 Best grocery store in Cary, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Most Delicious Wedding Cake! We tried several local very highly rated bakeries for our wedding cake, and none of them blew us away. We were going to settle for one, not completely satisfied. Our wedding planner and sister in law kept saying, "Try Publix," but we did not want a grocery store cake for our wedding. However, I reached out to the catering department and Crystal was amazing. We now live about an hour from the store, so I wanted to make sure that someone would be there when we drove all the way out there on a snowy Saturday. Crystal asked what flavors we were interested in, and she said she will get some samples ready for when we got there in about an hour. When we arrived, she had three full cakes for us to sample, at no charge. We were accustomed to paying bakeries for a sampling platter, only to be disappointed. The cakes from Publix were so delicious that we truly had a tough time deciding which one to choose. We ended up going with a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and a cream cheese icing. Holy heavenes, this was so good! We received so many compliments on the cake, and no one could believe it was from Publix. We weren't even concerned with the price; as long as the cake was delicious, we'd pay. The cake was not only delicious, but affordable - and the service from Crystal was, no pun intended, the icing on the cake! ~Tara

This store is super clean and employees are always super nice and helpful. I love that they have the small shopping carts for kids, that way I keep my daughter entertained and she loves to help out. If you are a salmon lover like myself they have so many options and cuts. I don't mind driving a bit further just to get the exceptional service here. ~MJ

This location should not do curbside pickup. I had to wait over 45 minutes when I arrived before 6 cars and reserved a time slot 24 hours in advance. Multiple items were not included and although the staff were friendly, they cannot keep up with the demand. At one point, I offered to go inside and get my own groceries. Great concept, not so great execution. ~nikki

Your local food lion for south Cary. Produce is always fresh and doesn't spoil quickly (like the produce from a certain merchant named Joe), great sales on food staples, and the manager specials on meat are a huge discount. My ONLY gripe is the lack of locally roasted coffee - way too many boxes of the pod coffee, very little choice for whole bean. ~Oscar

Very organized and illuminated, it’s not my usual place to shop groceries but I really liked the multiple options this place offers. personalized cakes are a great addition and the size of the bakery and deli is pretty impressive. Their sushi seems nice, looks fresh and well presented , princess are a little higher than expected. ~Ines

Now this store is one of the big ones stocked with everything. If you need help the employees are very helpful. The pharmacy here is great. I swing by the customer service desk every month to see the fantastic artwork on the calendar, I forget his name but he’s a great artist and super sweet! ~Robyn

Wheelchair accessible. David was my cashier. Nice guy. The staff were efficient and helpful. This shop is next to a Publix and located in a very beaufiful plaza. This particular Dollar Tree is farily big. Has groceries and supplies. If there is anything you need, this store may just as well have it. ~Krissi
