6 Best convenience store in Garner, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Horrible experience with the same employee. Twice with my wife, and twice with myself. I am a military veteran, and a local business owner. I have never felt so disrespected by obviously someone who clearly has a problem with Hispanics. My ID was reviewed 5 times and clearly trying to make me feel belittled. I was tempted to show her my military id as well as my state id as a state employee. I will take my business elsewhere even though I live around the corner. I will be contacting corporate as well. This woman is a new employee and is rude as can be. I’ve never had an issue for the passed 3 years of doing business at this location until recently. ~John

Ran in for a couple things at 6pm tonight. Waited in a line for 13 minutes, as the line continued to grow & extend to the back of the store. One cashier on duty, no other employee to be seen; told her I was sorry she was the only one working, she replied “I am used to it.” She was very kind & patient with everyone, but the store needs to be better staffed, especially the week before Christmas. The store was a wreck & aisles were crowded with unpacked merchandise. It used to be a much cleaner, better organized, & better staffed store. Maybe COVID has affected the staffing? ~Karen

I drive 5000 miles a month in a diesel f250, I used to fill up every morning here but the fuel receipt paper was Always out, and I mean always, forcing me to wait in line inside. Not worth it. Today I noticed awesome prices on diesel, obviously they are trying to generate more sales Filled up, and you guessed it, no receipt at the pump. Sadly, sill not worth it. ~Daniel

If you value your rights do not shop here. I have a carry license and open carry one one my sidearms. I walked into this store today and was promptly told I was not allowed in their store with a holstered sidearm unless I was a LEO. After I asked him to repeat what he said so I was sure I heard him correctly I let him know I would take my business elsewhere. I left and went next door to the Marathon store and was able to purchase 2 drinks without any problem. This store will not get any money from me. There are not any obvious signs on this building that state that weapons are prohibited. ~JH

I visited speedway to grab something quick for lunch break.I observed only one staff working alone there were no other employees in the store during my visit it did get quite busy in the store a worker named Quaneilyus M managed to deliver excellent customer service refill the pizza with fresh pizza and deliver a positive attitude towards customers.Speedway management if you're not already rewarding staff that is working alone and delivering excellent customer service I feel that you should consider giving associates. some type of reward for this type of service.Speedway at 5170 NC 42 W ~Sennedy

This store has the cleanest floors and restroom seen in Garner area. Staff was friendly also. ~Gloria
