5 Best gas station in Garner, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Horrible experience with the same employee. Twice with my wife, and twice with myself. I am a military veteran, and a local business owner. I have never felt so disrespected by obviously someone who clearly has a problem with Hispanics. My ID was reviewed 5 times and clearly trying to make me feel belittled. I was tempted to show her my military id as well as my state id as a state employee. I will take my business elsewhere even though I live around the corner. I will be contacting corporate as well. This woman is a new employee and is rude as can be. I’ve never had an issue for the passed 3 years of doing business at this location until recently. ~John

Bill & Steven are wonderful and have been working at the Garner BJ's location for many years, probably as long as we've lived in the area. Bill always has something nice to say to someone that’ll brighten your day. They're both extremely friendly and fast when checking receipts and getting you out the door. And they've both worked through the pandemic. They are the best! The store itself could use some overall updating. Signage in some places is worn, display cases could be freshened up and the lottery ticket kiosks on the way out are a little dirty looking. I always use self checkout and I’ve come to expect problems with the dated machines. For instance today they had a major freezer issue. The floor can be pretty empty some hours of the day so it can be hard to find someone to ask assistance from. Wesleys store brand can be a hit or a miss and the prepared party plate selection is usually of better value at other big box stores. And there are occasions where we have coupons but the product is out of stock in store. Nonetheless, we buy the essential name brand here and save when filling up on gas. This club is conveniently located not too far off Hwy 70 and so after long road trips coming from the east, stop in and stock up easily. Also, don't forget to stop in and grab a bite to eat at the shopping center. ~Sofia

I drive 5000 miles a month in a diesel f250, I used to fill up every morning here but the fuel receipt paper was Always out, and I mean always, forcing me to wait in line inside. Not worth it. Today I noticed awesome prices on diesel, obviously they are trying to generate more sales Filled up, and you guessed it, no receipt at the pump. Sadly, sill not worth it. ~Daniel

If you value your rights do not shop here. I have a carry license and open carry one one my sidearms. I walked into this store today and was promptly told I was not allowed in their store with a holstered sidearm unless I was a LEO. After I asked him to repeat what he said so I was sure I heard him correctly I let him know I would take my business elsewhere. I left and went next door to the Marathon store and was able to purchase 2 drinks without any problem. This store will not get any money from me. There are not any obvious signs on this building that state that weapons are prohibited. ~JH

I visited speedway to grab something quick for lunch break.I observed only one staff working alone there were no other employees in the store during my visit it did get quite busy in the store a worker named Quaneilyus M managed to deliver excellent customer service refill the pizza with fresh pizza and deliver a positive attitude towards customers.Speedway management if you're not already rewarding staff that is working alone and delivering excellent customer service I feel that you should consider giving associates. some type of reward for this type of service.Speedway at 5170 NC 42 W ~Sennedy
