Best oil change service in Goldsboro, North Carolina (NC) 2024

My cousin went in to the Valvoline on Spence to get his battery tested and to get his vehicle scanned for codes as he had a check engine light. I personally work for a different Valvoline and these services are free and don’t require anything else to be done. However the workers at the Spence location said these could only be done after an oil change, which is a blatant lie. ~Jesse

Stopped by on a whim to get a quick oil change and state inspection. I figured since it was a nice brand-new building I give it a shot. The techs were mostly friendly. Said they’ll get it no problem. Sat down in the lobby at 925am. They are just now finishing up at 11:28am. 2 hours for a 15-20 minute job is ridiculous. I may give them one more shot in the future ti see if today was a one-off, but definitely will not wait like this again. Dropped a star because it’s been 15 minutes since they finished and still haven’t “brought the paperwork up front” so I can pay. Didn’t offer to go check on it or anything. Going downhill quick… ~Lee
