7 Best convenience store in Reidsville, North Carolina (NC) 2024

I haven't ever been in this dollar general till last night it was white lady and black working I walked it with a air wick plug that I bough from my house and a light bulb.The white lady accused me of stealing a empty wick from the store and wouldn't move so o could get to the register to pay for what I got. I will never go back there my mom recommended me to go there said they had more than the one in Reidsville. The law was never called but I should have called them the way she was accusing me ~Amber

Absolute poor excuse of a grill, hardware store, anything for that matter. The manager Marie is a nightmare to deal with, the food is made in highly unsanitary environments. Please do not eat here and please file a complaint with Rockingham County Health Dept. ~Brandon

I was confronted by a someone, who did not identify themselves as a DG employee, about my service dog. I normally don't have any issues in this store, when I was checking out the cashier asked if I would like to speak to the manager. I said no, after talking with her a few minutes she asked me again if I would like to speak with the manager. I said ok. the lady that came out happened to be the one that confronted me about my dog. my dog is always wearing a vest that states she's a service dog, I also walk her on a gentle leader that goes around her nose. she said she had to ask if it's a support dog, I said no, she's a service dog. there is a difference. I don't know what the problem was. she did not identify herself as an employee, was wearing a black t shirt and jeans. did not have a name tag or anything identifying herself as an employee or manager. please educate your managers that there are certain ways you can ask about a service dog and not come off the way she did. by law you can ask if they are a service dog and you can ask what tasks are they trained to do. edited to add that any dog any breed or size can be a service dog. I'm not sure if a customer complained, which is usually the case, I've had managers of other stores ask me if my dog is a service dog and not come off the way she did. ~Anonymous

After being put on hold so long that it rang back through, whomever I just spoke to me was extremely extremely rude. I literally just said "what was that" because I couldn't hear what she said and she raised her voice so much she was all but yelling at me and her tone was extremely harsh. She was also being a smart elic to everything I said. I understand they are really understaffed right now, but you DO NOT under any circumstances speak to a customer like that, especially one that very patiently held when you picked up and asked them to hold again, and was only asking legit questions about a new program that YOUR COMPANY ASKED TO PUT THEM ON. ~Victoria

This is one of the places where you pump gas and your wife goes inside to get a drink and twenty minutes later, she hasn’t returned. You go inside to look for her and she’s nowhere to be found. You ask the staff about her and they say they never saw her. A few days go by and she still hasn’t turned up. Then a month, then a year, still nothing. Owner has a bad attitude. They don't like nobody........very self centered. The owner is very unprofessional in the way he deals with his clientel. He has no respect for others and no self control in using fowl language towards a client and he thinks making threats is a way of doing business. I would never recommend this store to anyone. I have known him all my life and my family has always interacted with his family throughout my lifetime. There is never a reason to treat someone like garbage when kindness and respect would have been a win win all around. ~Leigh
