13 Best gas station in Akron, Ohio (OH) 2024

It is a superior store, and the service here is absolutely amazing! The manager is the best!!! Oh how I appreciate your store. Thank you so much for being here for all of us!! When are y’all open? Definitely not 1am, nor 11pm. Closed again 5am - 7am. I’m done trying. Moving onto better pastures ~Senior

Currently under construction inside so no atm and each day is different.. you may be able to reach what you want you may not. They have a subway inside. The bathrooms are always broken or not organized or appealing. They look like stock rooms. They are putting in a bitcoin machine and USUALLY have an atm. The pumps are always muddy right where you need to stand and there no guards to keep the gas from back splashing. Only one or two pumps have diesel and with Amazon moving in down the road they just don't have enough pumps to handle it all. Amazon should be made to pace the trucks coming there or something because most of the time its hard for regular people to even get in. Its the only gas station right off the expressway at that exit. The staff is knowledgeable but some days can be rude. Store is usually very clean. Expanding, I hope, is an option in the near future. ~Sarah

Nice employees is what this place has going for it, and a drive thru, but other then that it's another expensive convenience store/gas station, but again the employees make this place a cut above ~Mike

Employees are super nice and store generally has a decent stock. However, it has been YEARS since I could pump gas here and have a receipt print at the pump. I have told associates and they keep saying that they have been trying to get it fixed. The issue must be in the hands of upper management and apparently it will never get done. It's annoying to have to wait in line for a pump receipt. Every. Time. ~Abby

This location has gone completely downhill over the past couple of years. First of all, the usually only have one cashier and the line is always long. Use the self check-out and avoid the line, you say? Great idea! However, it only works about 25% of the time. The times it does work, they give you about 2 square inches to attempt to scan and bag your groceries. Well, as of today, you can only scan your groceries and not bag them. First they decide to get rid of the plastic bags (which I totally understand is bad for the environment), and replace them with small paper bags (small enough for one drink and that's it, like something you would carry a malt beverage in) and now, over the past few days, they don't even have those anymore. No bags at all. So, I asked the cashier at another station if she had any bags, and she practically stared at me like I was an alien and I had to repeat the word "bag" THREE times and she still didn't seem to understand. Are your employees trained to act ignorant in regards to your bag policy? Here is a great suggestion and I'm not sure if you've thought of it before. Maybe you should provide bags to customers and have better service. Just a thought. Oh, also, your fuel at this location seems to be watered down and has been for at least the past 3 years. You may want to look into getting better quality fuel before your company has a bigger issue. ~Chris

You guys need to get your old staff back, these new entitled employees of yours. I’m not sure if they’re from another sheetz but these people are just rude. 4:00am on Sunday 8/7/22 was just an overall rude staff. You guys used to be way friendlier and used to be welcoming and inviting not rude and entitled. ~Tyler

Be careful when using the pumps outside to pay for fuel. Sometimes your ENTIRE account gets emptied out and then shows the actual amount. I wouldn't trust these pumps at all. Pay inside and save yourself the trouble. Some places have a hard time replacing equipment let alone checking them. ~samuslightsuit

To that girl that dumped Waste oil In my tater tot’s and like that wasn’t enough you punched it killing Not one, not two, but three birds with one stone. 1 -smashed EVERY SINGLE tater tot BECAUSE F… ME 2-smashed them together so much they couldn’t breath leaving them no other option but to suck the waste oil (can’t just be cooking oil that color you can see oil drops staying up top) like a wet snowball BECAUSE F… ME 3-created a new appetizer. THE ARTERY CLOGGER 3000 BECAUSE F… ME Well I don’t know what I did wrong to deserve you showing such Hard effort to prepare my food that I payed for but. This location is easy to get into but a little hard to get out of. But there's plenty of pumps. Parking is limited. They have a bitcoin atm and a regular one. They also have a large variety of items to choose from. They also have my favorite licorice in all kinds of flavors. Bathrooms need updated thats for sure. The store is clean but the staff is a little less than exuberant about their jobs. They are helpful though and the day crew even gets behind the counter items ready when they see me walk in.
