Jacksons Food Stores

At the Jacksons Store 516 in Portland OR I asked to pump gas for $5.00, (1.6 gallons). I was told to pay inside the small store, which I did. The attendant told me all done. I checked the arrow gage in the SUV, it did not move. I checked the Range, it is still 15 miles, as it was before. I talked to 2 people working at the gas station and told them that gas was not pumped. Maybe pump 5 was not working or calibrated correctly or maybe someone pushed wrong buttons or maybe someone is cheating. I went to a different gas station everything worked correctly. I lost $5.00. The district manager was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. ~John

This review is specifically for Kim and Aukai (spelling, sorry!). I had ordered a birthday cake for my child’s party that was accidentally made one size too small. The bakery was nearly sold out and the store sorely understaffed due to staff calling in, a problem that’s been rampant through the whole pandemic. Aukai and Kim came and helped creatively solve the issue of needing more cake. They graciously drastically reduced the prices and helped me carry the cakes through the store and even loaded them into a cart for me. They were extremely apologetic, kind, and patient the whole time, even though they surely were overworked and stretched thin over the holiday weekend and with staff shortages. I really appreciate their help and kindness. ~A

Jacksons Food Stores

This place is a very reliable fast pace 24 hour gas station and convenient store. The employees here always have a smile on their face and are always very prompt and ready to help when needed. They always go 110% for their customers. Especially Amanda, she has a knack for building customer retention I've noticed. She has a lot of regular customers that stop there because they know she's working. She's got that sunny positive personality that people love that's why it's become the number spot to stop to fill up. ~Andrea

Jacksons Food Stores

The gas attendants are lazy and rude. I arrived at this gas station at 9:54pm on a Friday, all lights on an ready for business. the workers hid inside until 9:58 then i had to ask if they were closed as the scurried to their car n bus stop trying to avoid a 30 second job that I could have done myself if it weren’t illegal. Every time I go there it’s terrible slow service from inconsiderate staff. Disappointing. ~Meagan

Plaid Pantry

Almost always closed. 10 minutes sometimes is closer to 30 or you give I and leave. Not sure if they just don't have employees or what. Would avoid if you want to shop, find one that's open more often. If you like homeless passed out and some begging for money, you'll probably like the parking lot at least. Tried to go back, seems they are closed more than open. ~Kirk
