Best gym in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

I love it here, it’s always clean and comfortable. But I am begging you to turn the heat off or down. I’m pouring sweat before I even get going into my workout and it’s so uncomfortable. I can’t do this atmosphere the whole winter. ~Sara

I LOVE this gym! The staff are helpful and friendly. The common spaces are kept neat and clean. I see the cleaning team working consistently and the people at the front desk will even walk around to pick up any weights that mat have been left laying around. The studio classes are excellent. I really enjoy the various bike classes and Body Pump and Barre. It is a little expensive but when I factored in all that I was getting like free in body scans to enhance and target my workouts better, access to every CF in the city, and the option to rent my own locker for $25 a month, well it was worth it. CF is more than a gym, it's literally a place that helps you to invest in your overall health. AND it's on my insurance list, so I can get reimbursed for going. I highly recommend all CF Fitness Centers. Start at LS and explore more. ~Storm

Staff at the desk are so rude and nonchalant. Everytime I go in there the staff at the desk on there phones. Like don’t greet nobody, and they always have a attitude. It’s a big boy who works there who has braids who was absolutely rude. I was working out at it was 9:50 i was on the treadmill and the lights were going out i knew they were closing but I knew i had 10 minutes left he waves his hands trying to get my attention saying we closed. The sign doesn’t say 9:50 it says 10. I just want to feel comfortable and he doesn’t make me feel comfortable. Walking around with the mean mug on his face. I understand work can be stressful but you not supposed to show it to the customers. Manager either needs to replace him or tell him to be professional. ~Christian

My experience with planet fitness was a very good one. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. I was greeted when I checked in and when I left the gym. They have a large array of free weights and exercise equipment. The gym and restrooms are very clean and tidy. I found the gym to be a non-judgment environment like they advertise. Planet fitness is a gym that I would highly recommend to my family and friends to join! ~Vincent
