Best mechanic in Reading, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

Very honest. I have had a great experience here. They were incredibly nice when speaking on the phone. Had a knocking noise that I thought was going to be something major and decided to try a different mechanic then my usual, and so glad I did. Turns out my other mechanic didn't tighten my lug nuts all the way and my tire was about to fall off. And when I had muffler work at said other mechanic they never put the heat shield back into place. I have had work done since then and no one ever mentioned any of these problems, but Essigs did and fixed all of these problems quickly. So if u are looking for a place of good value and honesty this is the place for you. I will no longer have to worry if I'm getting good work done. Thank you so much Essigs. Peter has worked on my car a few times and has always done an excellent job while also giving me advice and teaching me things about my car. I highly recommend this place they are fast, reliable, very communicative, and most importantly not out to steal your money. They will diagnose your car for problems and always give you a price and estimated time of completion. They ask your permission before proceeding with any work and go over all work done and give you a detailed receipt which other places fail to do. Favorite garage in all Reading hands down!
