7 Best grocery store in Columbia, South Carolina (SC) 2024

Publix is the only place we buy subs and wings from. We love their deli and hot bar area. Some of the people have a little attitude but we just overlook it. Other than that the store over all is great! Everything is clean. We enjoy shopping here. ~cheryl

Its a convenient place for all. The employees are cordial and welcoming. I love the bakery items from here. They also have good stock of fresh vegetables. Even Deli is good here. Though it is little far from the place I live, my wife makes it point to visit this store at least once a week. ~Nagender

I love ALDI!!! Store is always clean & staff is friendly & helpful. If you have never been to ALDI pay attention: Make sure to bring a quarter for a cart, ( you will get it back when you return the cart), bring reusable shopping bags! They do sell them but it is easier to bring your own. And lastly you have to bag your own groceries at a station at the end of the line. I hope this helps any newcomers! 😁😁😁 ~Unicorn

I love this store! Different offerings than your regular grocery store, and not too bad of a price difference considering the quality. Some of my favorite items that I got during my most recent trip were the organic toasted sesame oil and the watermelon cucumber cooler. The bottle for the sesame oil was just very cool to me, and I use it a lot in my asian cooking. The watermelon cucumber cooler is a nice, light juice. The employees were very nice, the store itself was clean and had a lot of Columbia-inspired decorations on the walls. All in all, a very pleasant place to be. ~Mar

I pulled into the parking lot at 8pm and sat until 8:11pm without being allowed in the store. As the parking lot filled and customers came and went no one was allowed in. Apparently the manager on duty decided she wasn't opening the doors or admitting customers until she had her lunch break and until it ended. 😳 what!?!?? Soooooo ma'am, what does that have to do with the company losing money? I could see if it was an emergency, however another employee was definitely inside as well....come on, make it make sense please. ~Simone

I don’t know his name but whoever was running the register around 10am on 3/18/22 was seriously fantastic. I had a big purchase for my company and I had two carts full. Not only was he super fast but he held onto my cart and transferred all my items for me into a different cart as well. He was so incredibly friendly. He welcomed me in with a smile and was so so sweet. He deserves some recognition! Thank you for your excellent customer service! ~Gabby

They had one complete aisle where you couldn't even get down they changed the aisles I understand everything went up but it's a Dollar Tree should still be a dollar then they had stuff in there for five bucks so it's not a Dollar Tree that Dollar Tree is always messed up ~Rebecca
